Thanks for the feedback! I’m hoping after I get 15-20 of these videos done, for the collection to represent a pretty accurate snapshot of my actual clientele- like I’m not just trying to get my best haired clients in here to look like models, but I actually want to use only my real clients getting their actual haircuts that I really do from day to day. Even if this “just show the reality of my work” approach means that some of my models have actual human hairlines or that some of the videos to come feel redundant (I mean there are only so many haircuts that people actually get), that’s real life, and I just want to document my thought process through it here.
@andrewdoeshair I find it frustrating when looking for hairstyle examples to show my barber that 95% of "haircut" picture you find in Google the model will have a NW1. Yet most guys don't have straight hairlines past early 20s. So I find it useful to have more realistic examples vs some actor whose had a hair transplant.
Thanks! I wish I invented it, but I actually had a client request his hair to be cut like Bart Simpson one time, and after some conversation I realized that this is what he meant 😂
Great video tutorial! It would be even better if you’d be wearing lighter t-shirt so we could better see the texture of your cutting line. The point about suitable haircut are more than technical haircut is like absolutely right. Not too many barbers pay enough attention to this. Thank you for the great content as usual!
I love this series. Not quite my hair, but I do feel like I learn something every time. Out of curiosity do you see doing some videos on how to find a haircutter? I'm in Hollywood and having trouble finding someone
Thank you! Yeah, cult and king. Now that I’ve gotten used to it I love it for moving lots of hair at once but I went back to my YS park for scissor over comb
@@andrewdoeshair I liked it a lot and then once I started getting into straight razor cutting I need to have a really clean strong tension ribbon like sectioning so then I found that I needed that smaller tooth like with the YS and even a Carbon comb because I’m breaking combs now 🤣
Thank you for showing haircuts for people with less than Hollywood hairlines

That Bart Simpson explanation was hilariously smart

For some reason I read that as Justin Hickox and thought my two hair worlds are colliding 😭
Is that a cult and king comb? It’s teeth are too wide for me. Great video as usual- Echo
