Hey guys.
In this DCS World Simulator video I'm in the F16 Viper flying against SLICK in what ever he will choose. Thanks so much for SLICK for the help in this video and I hope you guys enjoy!
I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthawg , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
GPU: Geforce RTX 2080ti
RAM: DDR4 Corsair 3200 MHz 32 GBB (total of 4 sticks so 128 GB in total)

But now I learn as much or more from you as I did him
yeah me too!!! I was like "man this other guy flies so aggressively I gotta check some of his videos out"... And now Im actually a lot more into Longshot than GS... I mean LS's videos are more educative and fun to watch at least for me

But in a flanker or mirage I learn way more from Longshot

100% agree. I think they cut up more when they fly together for the fun of it.
Stall maneuvers in history that I know of:
World War II, Pacific theater. Toshiyuki Sueda used this maneuver in his Zero against USN F4F Wildcats to score 9 kills. Then he went up against Bob Duncan who was flying a substantially more powerful F6F Hellcat, and got himself shot out of the sky at the top of the loop.
1966: IAF commander Ran Ronen in a Mirage III went up against a Jordanian in a Hawker Hunter during the Samu incident. The Jordanian was initially in a pretty good position because of the stall maneuver, as the transonic Hunter had a lower stall speed than the Mirage. But the pilot for some reason pulled out of the climb, allowing Ronen to slot into his control zone. What followed was a winding chase through a canyon that Hollywood action movie directors would love, culminating with Ronen getting the kill, and the defeated Jordanian ejecting into the canyon wall.
It does feel like a cheap maneuver because if it works, you get to seal club a stalled aircraft or force an overshoot.
The stall maneuver would be more effective against a jet with a worse power to weight ratio than the viper.
Straight up and accelerating. Freaking rocket.

It's really nice seeing the way the Viper likes to take out foes; something very dominant to watch. It would be cool seeing the strategies of other types of aircraft.

The Mirage looked like it was trying to energy fight with a piston engine aircraft. Boom & Zoom is great in a P-47 with a superior energy state but not so much in a Mirage vs an F-16 off the deck lol. I love bandit unknown.

To me stalling out the opponent like the last guy tried is viable if you're in something like a Raptor with the thrust to weight and slow speed maneuverability to make it work, but it's a lot like the Cobra: losing energy can be very unforgiving if you miss. Nice fights!

Love the F-16, but I'm held back by the "input delay" that comes with the fbw system. Going to need a lot of flight time :p

man I don't know... I don't usually like rate fights, I find it somewhat boring cuz it's basically always the same... but even still you're so aggressive that I can actually enjoy it!!!

Can you address the controversy kinda floating around that the Viper is not even in the top 3 rate fighters in DCS? Beaten 2-circle by Mirage, Hornet, and Flankers according to some.
F16 absolutly rolls the mirage 2K in the 2 circle.
