My reservation for an electric F-150 came up yesterday. Because they wouldn't let me option out either of the reasonably priced models, I cancelled it. Sales person at dealer emailed me bemoaning that I could have gotten $25k over list for it - like, I's want to be part of the problem? Stupid.
Meh, Nvidia is going to have a hard time getting my money any time soon.

Who in their right mind thinks it is a good idea to hand Nvidia an additional $400+ dollars for RTX3090 now versus the small reported performance benefit of that new card?
That will be essentially what you're doing if you buy it now at the current pricing.
The 3000 series is not a bad product but it is still a two year old product.
Nvidia and their AIBs need to get real and start lowering pricing to reflect what they have.
They made lots of money for two years, selling vastly overpriced GPUs.
In some cases they were collecting on a 3:1... (Three times the cost for a single GPU).
Greed is the only thing driving their decision.
I won't contribute to that behavior.

I need accessibility access to my vehicle too...(MS, paralyzed leges). The dealer wanted 10k over the install and parts cost because "the pandemic". I contacted the ADA and got both the price of the vehicle reduced to MSRP, and they found me a place that would do the work, under manufactures warranty, for the original cost!
Years ago, I ran into a dealer who would not budge from above list price.
Fortunately, I had a friend who worked in the dealer's association & he found a dealer who would gladly sell for list price with the options I wanted. 👍
Isn't there an online site where you can enter the price you want & it puts it _out there_ to see if any dealers will accept the deal?
@@RageQuitSon Trust me I did. Funny enough, it changed owners this past spring. They have been nothing but amazing and accommodating. I know I had nothing to do with it directly, but they had 1000s of bad reviews. Sadly, they are the only Nissan dealer within 60 miles. I'm just glad the new owner has things under much better control.
@@BoltRM NADA guides. It shows not only what the dealer paid, the hold back for floor plan etc. It shows how long it's been on their lot, what similar vehicles are selling for, what used vehicles are selling at auction. You just need the VIN and you're good to go. And its 100% free!
Unless your driveway is an offroad challenge course at 100% incline, the thing that's stopping cars from getting up there during winter, is probably a lack of a good set of snow tires.

Blue bubbles just means it’s a full feature iOS chat box with all of the interactive features. Green just means standard text and all iOS chat box features disabled….but apple could easily make all text be “blue bubbles” and those not on iOS just wouldn’t see the extra feature. But they won’t because they want the iOS users in the group text to shame everyone not on iOS for breaking the features for everyone else.
It's literally design to ostracize non-IOS users. It the ultimate expression of what's been wrong with the Apple culture throughout the entire existence of the brand. There was at least a time where you could just say its the fans, not Apple themselves. This is basically them outright weaponizing their fans.

The previous time this happened Nvidia priced 20 series relative to performance gains so that people would still buy the 10 series. And I think postponing the launch is a better way of doing the same thing. Hopefully, they will manufacture 40 series like there would be no delay and just have a higher volume at launch.

But please correct the name, Sprinter and other transportation vans aren´t made by Mercedes anymore but by Daimler Truck AG, the transportation and consumer were split into two seperate companies a few month ago. Also, if someone orders an electric Sprinter there´s a high chance it´s gonna be Made in Germany, Daimler Truck is investing 400million € into the local plant here in Düsseldorf Germany and next year all Sprinters produced over here are supposed to be electric only.

if dealers didn't mark up, they'd have nothing on the lot, and would have to lock the doors and send all the employees home.. and with pricing power on their side, manufacturers seem to have no incentive to meet demand. small quantities of high profit vehicles makes more money than chasing market share.

AMD won't be gaining mindshare for long in the CPU market at this pace, they became despicable. Just as Intel was when they were king. Their low end products are pretty much non existent, and for whatever else they offer prices keep on creeping up amd up and up.
Quit being a troll. Everything is more expensive these days. You should be happy you're not paying 15% more for something that's more than 15% faster than previous generation.
AMD just doesn't have low end products to sell. You may have noticed that the lowest chiplet based Zen 3 CPU is the 5600 non-X. Everything lower than that is either a monolithic APU, or an older generation. Low end SKUs basically only exists from seriously failed dies, or artificial cut downs of good dies. TSMC yields are so good the greatest extent of the failures (at least in any reasonable volume) still results in a 6 core. When those are still flying off the shelves, why would any company artificially chop them down. Intel has a massive production capacity compared to AMD, and they produce larger monolithic dies more prone to failures. Intel has the "advantage" of having more broken stuff to sell, and way more dies than they could ever sell at full price. So they can cut down good chips that would otherwise make nothing sitting in the warehouse. AMD will most likely release mobile Ryzen 6000 Zen3+ as low end AM5 desktop APUs, like they have literally every generation beforehand.

@@nedegt1877 Current rumors suggest every Sku below the 13600K is going to be a rebranded Alder Lake. More unsold silicon they need to sell somehow. Intel's other long standing issue is feature segmentation. A low end CPU would only be expected to be lower in performance as opposed to having features arbitrarily removed.
