Here we are! The trilogy is coming to and end, unless it isn't...
We are installing rim brakes on the fixed gear conversion to make it legal in preparation for a race that I will be doing in June. And to top it all off, we wrap red Zipp bar tape on the drops to give the bike some much needed color!

46/16 at the time of this video, but I moved up to 48/16 a few days ago, and I might push it to 48/15 if I think I can handle it :) what are you riding?

Used market. Or just buy a a fixed rear wheel and slap that on a used retro road bike that you get for free from your uncle. There is nothing new for 100 “bucks”, dollars or euro or whatever

@addvurtbikes I want to know why the price of fixed gear is nearly similar to smt like road bike even though the components of fixed gear is less

Economy of scale I suppose. But if you move up a bit in quality, the road bikes become at least twice as expensive as a fixed gear. You can get really good fixies for 1000 bucks

at some point, if I really don't need this bike for riding fixed, I might setup something like a 5-speed cassette with a downtube shifter. It could be a fun project :)
