I like how he was like "I'm not gonna go through every single patch like this" and then proceeded to get swept away by how good every patch was.
Nice to see that Paul is very excited about Solstice! :)
I hate Spitfire walkthroughs and demos. Well, technically my wallet hates them - because I just watch them, listen to them and then sigh and download them. Never once been disappointed.
Was grocery shopping while listening to the Elders section. Boy, was that a weird experience. Like existing in two totally different universes at the same time.
Did you feel more drawn to the cucumbers or the courgettes?
I don’t know how you guys manage to knock it out of the park in every single library. Incredible sounds.
37:15 reminds me of Super Mario Galaxy for some reason and just chilling in space; it feels like I’m in my childhood again
One of the most innovative libraries Spitfrire have produced. Inspirational!
Oh My Goodness! What a great sample library - absolutely great conception.
Wow this library is very expressive.
Love the enthusiasm Paul! Always such helpful vids, I SO want to buy this one.
" Oh mercy, I have succumbed to the very thing I said I wouldn't succumb to " I have a weakness, and that weakness paid and downloaded this. New commission already for a 10 part series. Oh how I must kerb my enthusiasm. 🤓🎶🧐👌
I'm seriously gonna use The Blaggards on like everything now. That's fantastic.
I'm very excited today... (wicked textures)
Incredibly well done. What a unique library
An absolute must have
this is gonna be BY Far my favorite library to use OH MY GOD
This is awesome like other Spitfire's products. Thank you guys for doing these!
What an incredible library.
It sounds SO good but.. I'm trying this new thing called "restraint" right now
i tried this, but found i had to restrain my self from too much restraint and bought it :)
Don't get them started...They might hold you to this and make you purchase... New Spitfire Audio "Restraint" Strings coming soon... 😂
@@dafingaz LOL
@@mkirbymusic 😂
How is that working for ya? Not much luck here.
The mood/lighting of that room is equally as inspiring as the library.
I love how he has a Ravel analysis book in French just opened randomly on the desk, as if he was just finishing a French reading session to tour his new virtual instrument library lol
28:33 so fun to see Paul absolutely giddy about this library. Don't blame him for spending an hour on this walkthrough.
Let’s go!!
perfect for anime really 13:30
I would really like to see you live giving a demo or performing. You are great!
Don't tel my wife but, I think I fell in love with Albion Solstice about 5 minutes into this video.
16:41 reminds me of something you hear in "trucks in place" from the tenet soundtrack :p
Yes!
Oh wow, this is a little too appealing in every single way, I feel so targeted haha
41:06 oh my goodness, it's Lou Rhodes and Mirabilé on a playground roundabout. I need this in my life.
You guys should do more at Castle Sound! This thing sounds just unbelievable.
You’re studio space is more aesthetically pleasing than Christians. Thanks for the walkthrough. Way out of my budget currently but sounds lovely.
Simply amazing. Nothing less.
Can somebody tell me what the "(Combo)" articulations do? I've searched everywhere in the video / on the spitfire website / in the manual, and can't find any answers.
i wish we could have got more of a look at the legatos and playing solo melodies. i love the sounds in here and i get that three everything i could ever dream of for writing chordal stuff but im trying to decide which of these higher end libraries to get and i really want a good amount of ability to play solo melodies as well as chordal stuff. Anybody have any thoughts?
At least this library sounds unique.
Here's me thinking that, upon announcement, this "Folk" library would be great for scoring Last of the Summer Wine 😮
It is not often I am happy to be so wrong.
42:35 beautiful
Can someone tell me if in The Marauders (Percussion) category, there are percussions for orchestrated epic music?, thank you
What's the title of the book? I can't really read it besides the blue "Ravel".
Hi Paul! I was surprised to find that some patterns/chords/strums are not transposable! Is this really the case? How can they be useful when needed in a project which has a different key?
I compare this with, for example, the Vocalise library. It has patches sampled in a certain key, but then one would use key switches to change to a desired key.
sounds interesting
vibrato control for legatos would make this perfect library. Its still great though
shouldn't err...shouldn't the link to the product page be in the description? U know? So we can buy it?
48:40
52:10 Bodhran?
How come it is a Kontakt library? Just asking.
This thing needs a modern interface. The non-scaleable bitmap stuff is a pain to work with. For that price tag more effort should be but into the graphical user interface, which is the bridge between the user and the instrument.
Guys, what is a good Orchestra Lib for pop? I need a good dry library.
Wrong channel, but Metropolis Ark 1 might do the trick.
@@dirk.claassen Thanks for the advice! I found the LA Sessions stuff and that is much closer to my needs. I want to do like string quartets and horn sections so that is a little more suited to my needs.
@@dirk.claassen That Brass collection doesn't seem to be in their SINE Player, but it looks interesting. I already have NI's Session Horns, I want to see how they play along with the LA Sessions Instruments. Thanks for the advice 👍
@@dirk.claassen Yeah, you must have earned a commission from Orchestral Tools 🤣
Thanks again!
ciao, potresti dirmi per cortesia che synth è quel K4? Grazie
credo sia la Physys piano K4
I have to ask. Scottish, traditional, folk, celtic, gaelic, heritage yet modern, Edinburgh ........................... but no bagpipes? Was it a conscious decision to leave them out?
Think I’m gonna buy this in the sale today with some savings I shouldn’t touch and make another album.
I bet you never made that album
@@The_Invisible_Manalmost done
39:45 isn’t this how they made the pink soldiers theme in squid game?
dry is good Paul, dry is good.
pads.pads pads pads and more pads. oh... and drones. some people actually compose melodic music you know? shorts are the same as all their other libraries and I bet those "motors" sound awful at anything other than 120bpm at which they were recorded... probably why he didnt change tempo. yawn... Try playing some Ravel with this, mate ;)
Don't want to be rude, but you talk too much. Would enjoy in the future a parallel walkthrough with music only (and written text) to keep the vibe for hypersensible people.
I absolutley disagree. I think Paul walks us thrugh the library very nicely and he seems very exicited.
Lol ratio-ed twice
A lot of users of the library will probably start to post straight ahead preset play through videos on CZcams. I like the way Paul talked it through though.
Yeah, I guess it depends on your sensibility. I generally don't like people commenting sound or music, same for movies, it breaks the immersion and the experience. As mentioned Steve, I would prefer a Spitfire playthrough to discover a library for the 1st time, and get some explanations after, like director's comments on a DVD.
Well, normally I dislike any talk on sample library presentations, but I always look forward to and enjoy Paul’s inspiring walkthroughs, which often gives me new ideas of using a specific library
