Bravo! One point that never seems to get discussed is the shape of the headstock and how the G string tuning machine aligns with the nut. I think traditional head stocks misaligned the tuning machine post with the nut, creating a twangy G...
PRS at el, reshaped the headstock so that the G tuning machine post aligned with the nut more effectively. Kudos to PRS and others who took that consideration in mind and put it into place with their design.
It certainly makes a difference and is rarely mentioned.
One other thing that I would like to note is that this guy knows what he's talking about.
    Thanks!

My negative with the headstock is that it's a pain for using clip-on tuners. Same with my electric PRS. Still, very happy with the parlor size and neck.

Just picked up the limited edition model.
Soo excited to have a parlor guitar that sounds so sweet
    That I could afford
And will be appropriate in the tiny room me and my pug live in
Thanks for sharing this review ☺️

As far as I know all prs acoustics are solid back and tops with veneer sides only, bringing the classical style build to te table. I was BLOWN away from my A50e Maple it blew all Taylor's and gibsons 5 times the price away. PRS are the best...

btw I will never buy a veneer guitar again. How many guitars do you need? The better your guitar is, the less you feel like needing another. Get one excellent one and be fine.

The plastic cap over the truss rod scallop in the headstock is only attached with one tiny short screw. On my guitar it came off the first day I had it. Otherwise, I found the build immaculate and the sound is sweet and mellow.

Sounds nice, but I imagine if Cort just released a version branded by them, it would be like 100 - 200 dollars less. As it is a Cort with PRS graphics.

Of course, it is not possible to know if the veneer back and sides affect the tone unless you can compare it to a solid version, which does not exist. Many guitar companies are now hedging on whether the body is solid or veneer by simply saying "mahogany" or "maple." PRS is as guilty as any.

Thanks for the great review James. I already have a Baby Taylor mahogany, I find it’s great for traveling but just a little too small for my home couch playing, is this PRS parlor larger than the Baby Taylor’s? It looks like the neck is wider at the nut than the baby Taylor, which I need for my fat fingers, is the PRS much bigger or the same size as the baby Taylor?

Bought this guitar online, on the strength of this review as at the moment I cannot go to a store and try one out. When it arrived a number of marks on back and neck, bracing that I could see inside rough as a badgers arse. Sounded terrible to my uneducated ears. Atempting to send it back.

smart marketing prs design a toy guitar and make it look premium and jack up the retail cost.
