- The PRS SE P20 is a parlor-sized acoustic with a big voice. Boasting traditional parlor features like sweet, midrange tone, historic vibe, and easy portability, the PRS SE P20 also brings a unique voice to players. The PRS hybrid “X”/Classical bracing locks down the back and sides while allowing the top to freely vibrate, allowing the PRS SE P20 to project with even, bold tone, while the all-mahogany construction provides an organic warmth to the guitar. Its smaller size keeps playing fun and comfortable for hours, so whether writing, recording, or performing the P20 is sure to impress.
Available in three satin finishes with herringbone rosettes and accents, PRS SE Parlor acoustics look as good as they sound. Other high-quality features include a solid mahogany top, ebony fretboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, as well as PRS trademark bird inlays and headstock design. PRS SE Parlor acoustics come with a gig bag and are strung with 12-53 strings.

I watch partly for the guitars, but mostly for Ewald's insanely in-the-pocket, groovy playing.
"Best of all is the price tag, which clocks in at $499 for the P20, and $579 for the P20E. Not bad, PRS. Not bad at all." - Guitar World

This sounds awesome; so glad to see parlor-sized guitars in the lineup. The popularity of ukes and apartment living shows the need for smaller instruments, and with the amplification options we have nowadays it just makes sense that you don't need all that size.
Yeah I just can't even get my 000 and OM guitars through my apartment door and that full sound they make always has neighbors calling in the SWAT team!
Parlor guitar construction and materials can produce volume without a circuit getting in the way of the music.
These look awesome! Totally agree how this body style can be useful for studio work. Loving the different finish options too. Another spectacular instrument by PRS. 👏🏻
I’m super stoked!
I picked up my P20E in Aged Antique White YESTERDAY afternoon.
I love it!
Thank You PRS
😁👍
Superb playing, love parlour guitars, great for blues, folk and country styles
Got mine today and it’s amazing. I never use 012s but the action on this instrument is outstanding. Thanks again PRS.
I don't have a parlor guitar. Fell in love with them when I played a Martin. I love PRS and now they have an SE. Only a matter of time now. A short matter of time.
First go around I must say I am VERY impressed.
Excellent balance, lovely tone, looks great.
Never tried this Parlour body shape before, but I really love the sound
Just bought my first prs acoustic a A50e maple and I'm HOOKED iv spent 10s of thousands on all the big name guitars over 25 years and they completely destroy all my Taylor's and Martin's sound and feel, simply incredible. I'm all about made in USA but prs does it like no one else.
Classy-looking guitar. But for my opinion only, a santana-style headstock shape will fit the look even better
YES!!!!
1000x
rate that
Gorgeous body, but the headstock is just wrong. Like putting a spoiler on a Rolls Royce.
Same thought here
00:26 The world famous Captain Anderton's lick :D
the video could start with "hi everyone im Brian Ewald and this is a paint can i strapped a rubber band to" and i would still be like damn Brian ok rip that thing man! lol
I just bought this guitar. Love it
Would you recommend ? I’m after a heads up from another mortal like myself. Guitar gods can make anything sound awesome.
@@edwindude9893 I absolutely 💯love it. It's smooth to play. A very comfortable guitar to play because it's not to big. Get on the guitar app called reverb. And they have them for sale for $450
Do you still like it? How was the action? Sweet water had them for $299 for Labor Day weekend. I couldn’t resist.
@@84kjk i sure do. Out of all my other guitars. I use this one to play at church
Cool. Thanks. Mine is coming end of the week.
Great playing as always Bryan Ewald!
I absolutely love the guitar...I want to have one 😢
I adore my SE Custom 24. I didn't have an acoustic. So I bought an SE T50E from thomann. It arrived with a cracked fretboard and fretwork that rendered it unplayable (frets 10-14 would produce the fret 14 note). The case was also broken. I sent it back, requesting a replacement model. Thomann said that their replacement model, after testing, proved to be "not adequate for sale" and they refunded me instead. I don't know, maybe I was super unlucky and PRS makes all kinds of great acoustics. I ended up buying a different brand (not mentioned out of respect and love for PRS) acoustic. Before I would consider another PRS acoustic I would need the company to acknowledge quality control problems and state that they have been addressed somehow.
I purchased the P20 mahogany sunburst
It took a month to arrive
A good deal for a high quality instrument & great price includes a decent quality case ✌🏽
Great vibe , this guitar has presence and sparkle I already have a PRS Angelus this guitar would be great for going on holiday or taking camping or to the beach .😊👍
Getting one of these! Thanks for the vid Bryan!
Mr. Paul Reed Smith, you’ve done it again
P.S: Can I order a left handed version ? One of my goals is to own a PRS guitar and this fits in perfectly with what I have in mind
Hope you guys stay safe! Cheers from Lebanon
Oh just take my money! I need the black one.
Y’all need to make full wood acoustics that aren’t $10k+.
Yep yep yep.
Nice guitar, sounds great, and I like the fit and finish with an attractive price. The deal breaker, for me, is the 1.6875" nut. Just a bit too narrow.
The black top and natural sides finish is having me hover over the add to cart button.
Now is your chance. They are $299 at sweet water for Labor Day weekend.
@@84kjk dang, you were not kidding
I need this in my life 😁
I’m really considering buying one. I just need a mortal like myself to push me toward the ‘pay’ button with an honest bit of info or review.
Good midrange sound solid top parlor guitar..might come best with slotted headstock
Love it PRS always delivers for me...definitely getting one of those
Comes with the 012s which are great but I’m used to 11s , so I changed them and I’m totally in LOVE
Great playing man!!
I am def getting this. Thanks guys. Great price too!
Great design but one thing's missing, a slotted headstock for PRS P20.
I can't wait til they build like a 000-style guitar. The Parlors sound great, but I need just a little more volume and low-end than any parlor guitar I've ever played. The 24 3/4" scale is a must for me, I just don't care for 25.5" acoustics.
This guitar is so perfect 😍 i love it
Was wondering what guitar Myles Kennedy used the other day on his Instagram. Realized that he might have inadvertently leaked it. Looks cool :D
Yeah, it's the same, and I guess they did it on purpose:)))
Me too!!!
Awesome. I have an A50EVS, my favourite guitar. Was looking for something else feom PRS acoustics to complement it. One thing that i wish Fishman would do is put a midway notch on their soundhole volume and tone controls, its possible to get lost sometimes, but im being picky
I'm really impressed. Especially prise wise.
How much do they cost ?

It really does sound like a D-28 or such with the lower-mids attenuated. Exactly what is necessary when adding a strummed acoustic into a mix. If you wanted more bottom I bet it could be added as well with a bit of EQ. Nice guitar at a fair price.
Fishman? Hm... didn’t expect that. I dig it
Will you someday make nylon acoustics?
Wouldn't it be great?
Agree, 100%
Love it! Amazing tone!
Sold! I can’t wait until Thomann has them
Is looks and sounds beautiful ❤️
Sounds amazing, thanks Bryan and also for that John Mayer song in the middle lol 😂
What John Mayer song what is it called?

Beautiful sounding
Nothing like mahogany. It's so good. The only reason spruce tops still exists is because they're louder.
Gotta check these out. Sounds and looks good.
Great sounding guitars. I could have a black top with tortoise shell pickguard, black tuning knobs and black tusk nut.
Sounds/looks great!
Hey PRS. I purchased a P20E and I love it. This may be sacrilegious , but when I do plug it in I am using a Bugera Infinium 5W. Mistake ? Or would you recommend another amp ?
thats a beautiful guitar..I dont have an acoustic...may have to add one to my stable of PRS
Sounds pretty good
Bought an SE Custom 24 a month ago via Thomann and had to send it back, because the higher frets were horribly cut, making the notes die out in less than a second. They sent it to your factory in GB and I haven't heard from them in over two weeks, whether they'll fix it or exchange it or not. Thomann can't give me any info either. I've only heard good before, but now I'm not so sure about PRS anymore...
Sorry to hear you got a dud. My SE 24 is quite impressive. ----Thomann should have sent you a new one. I only buy on line from Sweetwater. The one or two issues I've had were immediately fixed. Passing the blame to the manufacturer(especially for something made in CHINA!) is massive BS and you should tell Thomann that. THEY bought the sh!tty guitar, Not you. for me... Mental note - Thomann=No Go. (same boat as Musician's Fiende - make you pay for return shipping on defective gear)
the riff you were playing in starting was sort of inspired by take your whiskey home by van halen
i will be great that Brian Ewald after did demo models to do only playthrout sound of the guitar to enjoy the groovy plying of Ewald and the guitar to
When is PRS going to start selling acoustics from their core line? I'd buy one, but don't really want a laminate SE.
The tone is just wow.. but I’m guessing they use a professional mic’ing, not through the fishman pickup
True but its amplifying a good sound and not creating a new sound. So I'm going to try one out.
Boss demo, nice dude.
I bought a PRS SE P20E Vintage Mahogany a few months ago and I am really pleased with it. Do you know what is the best cleaner that I can use to clean the body of the guitar? Many thanks.
nice guitar until the tuners break. so where can I get replacement tuners for my SE20--Parlor guitar?
We need a 12 fret version!
Why would you want less fret access
What tuning is he in it sounds great
Please, complete measurements in Cm for SE P20?. Thank you from Spain
Impressive!
Didn’t I just see Myles Kennedy play one of these a week ago or so?
A set of 12's as played would test my fingers and that of a beginner or kid I'd reckon. I've got a parlour guitar which has been lots of fun to play but tried others and they have been underwhelming.
O didn't have it but for sure I will. I already fall in love with this guitare
Grundig mics...Guitar sounds great!
Totally dig like way-way
A ukulele next! I'd buy it.
Where are they made?
It’s an SE so probably Korea or Indonesia

2:10 st. patricks day type beat
I would like a left handed version of this guitar 😔

I got a sunburst Palor Gretsch a good full body sound I just fingerpick it
I want my rotary switch plsss!!!!

Hi ! could you tell me how wide the nut is?
I just bought a PRS SE P20E Tonare Charcoal. I can't seem to find any info on how to decode the PRS serial number (D18032). Can someone at PRS let me know when this guitar was built?
So, where are the SE nylon string guitars ?
Available for left handed players?
When is this guitar officially out? I can't seem to find it without sites saying out of stock or pre-order.
Hi Lou,
This guitar started shipping worldwide when this video dropped in May. It's been a wildly popular model for us, so there is a good chance it is sold out at the locations where you are looking for it. Not to worry though, more are on the way for the stores that have placed another order. If there is anything else we can help you with, please contact us via email at custserv@prsguitars.com or by phone at (410) 643-9970. Thanks!

I need a nylon version
Do these come in left handed?
What are the nut width and bridge string spacing? what is the fretboard radius?
I have the same questions. Please someone answer. I wonder how this compares to a Guild M120?
Nice guitar, but call it what it is. With a lower bout of 14" it's between a Concert (O) and a grand Concert (OO) - definitely not a parlor. Eastman has also made the same wrong nomenclature with their E10P & E20P "parlor" guitars which are really size O.
Not bad for the price, but I like my all mahogany B&G Caletta that is made in Tel Aviv.
Want!
I really really want one of these please sell them in Canada
They're on cosmomusic.ca
This or the Martin lX1e?
If i buy PRS P20 without pickup can I later easily add pickup or I need to buy P20E if i want it with pickup?
Yes you can add it
Isnt the 20 about fret number like for the custom 24?
Hi Neko T,
No. When it comes to the naming of our SE acoustic guitars, the number portion of the name designates the wood type used to construct the back and sides of the body.
In this case, the P20 and P20E, are (P) for parlor sized acoustics, with (20) mahogany back and sides, and (E) for equipped with a onboard electronics and an acoustic pickup.
Hope that helps!
