  • The PRS SE P20 is a parlor-sized acoustic with a big voice. Boasting traditional parlor features like sweet, midrange tone, historic vibe, and easy portability, the PRS SE P20 also brings a unique voice to players. The PRS hybrid “X”/Classical bracing locks down the back and sides while allowing the top to freely vibrate, allowing the PRS SE P20 to project with even, bold tone, while the all-mahogany construction provides an organic warmth to the guitar. Its smaller size keeps playing fun and comfortable for hours, so whether writing, recording, or performing the P20 is sure to impress.
Available in three satin finishes with herringbone rosettes and accents, PRS SE Parlor acoustics look as good as they sound. Other high-quality features include a solid mahogany top, ebony fretboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, as well as PRS trademark bird inlays and headstock design. PRS SE Parlor acoustics come with a gig bag and are strung with 12-53 strings.

This sounds awesome; so glad to see parlor-sized guitars in the lineup. The popularity of ukes and apartment living shows the need for smaller instruments, and with the amplification options we have nowadays it just makes sense that you don't need all that size.

I adore my SE Custom 24. I didn't have an acoustic. So I bought an SE T50E from thomann. It arrived with a cracked fretboard and fretwork that rendered it unplayable (frets 10-14 would produce the fret 14 note). The case was also broken. I sent it back, requesting a replacement model. Thomann said that their replacement model, after testing, proved to be "not adequate for sale" and they refunded me instead. I don't know, maybe I was super unlucky and PRS makes all kinds of great acoustics. I ended up buying a different brand (not mentioned out of respect and love for PRS) acoustic. Before I would consider another PRS acoustic I would need the company to acknowledge quality control problems and state that they have been addressed somehow.

No. When it comes to the naming of our SE acoustic guitars, the number portion of the name designates the wood type used to construct the back and sides of the body.
In this case, the P20 and P20E, are (P) for parlor sized acoustics, with (20) mahogany back and sides, and (E) for equipped with a onboard electronics and an acoustic pickup.
