The PRS P20 and P20E guitars parlor style acoustic guitars that sound way bigger than they look. At $499 without a pickup, they are a great deal as well.

That's a great ukulele you've got there, Brad!! 😂
Links to learn more about this guitar (and purchase) are in the video description. We love it!
AND I'M FIRST THIS TIME, BRADFORD! -Brian
Great demo! Do you know the neck radius of this guitar??...
Thanks!
Hey, really hoping you guys would reply to this:) . Wanted to ask, would you guys use this guitar in a worship band setting?
Perhaps the best review of this guitar seen on youtube :) When I saw that the sound of the guitar while strumming (strumming on a parlor!) is so far from the "boxed" sound you often hear on parlors ... I fell in love with it. Ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, mahogany throughout ... Thanks guys, Great PRS
Bought this guitar today! Picked this over Martin DX and Taylor GS mini. Love it so far!
Would you recommend over a Martin lX1e?
This guitar is an absolute beauty. 😢😍
This peaked my interest when I saw your "EGYPT" video a couple days ago. Thank you for posting a review Brian.
It sounds great.
Had this guitar for a month and love it …needed a lot of truss rod adjustment but once done no other set up needed.
Great size and nice tone😀
Is this a bolt neck?
Yes,the original setup is not good at all, to be honest, the worst one I have ever owned, but size is good it has potential to be a good one.
I bought one and love it (vintage mahogany), with or without an amp. The one major con is the paper thin pickguard, which has a very rough surface that makes noise when playing acoustically and your nails rub on it. I will be putting a high quality tortoiseshell guard in its place.
Thats an impressive video, I loved the quality.
Happy to see you play and give us some advices, loved it.
Hope to become as good as you and develop my channel like you
Very helpful video many thanks. Just bought this parlour, it does feel more like £2000 guitar than a budget one I agree. Cheers
Well, it's time for my first PRS.
I always thought my first PRS would be an electric, and now I’m saving for this game one
Just recently got this as my second acoustic guitar, absolutely love this thing!
I would love to hear what it sounds like plugged in. The acoustic sound is very nice.
Thx for review!!!! it is sound on $500 since it is so small and I bet not all solid wood construction, similar to Taylor GS Mini or Martin LX1 etc.
im disturbed by the string buzz at 0:55 - 1:00
Pretty interesting PRS parlor guitar, premium appointments and price point. Thank you!
Just bought one and I’m so excited to learn and play some worship sets with it!
Hope it's going great for you. I love worship songs on acoustics .
Very cool, gentlemen and very cool gentlemen
Wow, you make it sound really good.
Great review and awesome guitar, thanks!
I bought the white one yesterday, amazing guitar
Carolina in My Mind!!! Sounded so so good! Love this guitar!
Thank you for a great review. How is the pickup?
Wonderful playing and sound.
It's a little buzzy. Maybe needs a bit of a neck adjustment. Really cool look and sound.
this is a couch guitar. its a parlor. I think it looks really cool. a bit pricey but PRS is a good brand
More than just a couch guitar..
Pricey ?
That “I Will Survive” action by Cake at 8:35 is mighty fine 👌🏼😍
SNAP. 10 internet points for you!!
I caught that as well. For a second, I thought 15:34 was a rendition of Hold On Loosely
I'm saving for the McPherson Touring....that guitar sounded GREAT!!
Just ordered one
why didn't you test the pickup ? it's not a detail on this guitar... 😥
Love the James Taylor-esc playing from Bradford, it’s going to be tough to find a better sounding production guitar for that amount of money
Thank ya :)
I’ll take a seagull for 500 bucks all day
I would REALLY like to see you guys do a comparison between this guitar and the Martin 000-Jr. Both $499. I am trying to decide between the two, and would be interested in your opinions.
I'm getting the PRS, tried the Martin OOO jr.
PRS is easier to play and also comes with electronics, not available on the Martin.
For all the ukulele jokes, I really like parlor guitars. This is a great demo. Almost all my electrics are PRS of some sort, but I've never handled one of their acoustics. Interesting.
Also interesting is choosing the Cake version of I Will Survive just before the 9:00 mark.
this guitar is beautiful in its three versions...I am raising money precisely for her
The black top acoustic p20 is on sale at sweetwater for 300$ rn! The other two finishes are sold out. Limited time offer. Acoustic only not electric
Anyone in doubt should listen to Justin Johnson playing While My Guitar Gently Weeps, then you will be convinced.
we walked into a Guitar Center today to look at $1500+ acoustics for my wife that we're budgeting for to pick up in May, ended up walking out with one of these in Lotus Pink lol :D
There it is!
I'm pretty sure that Abigail Freemantle played a parlor guitar in The Stand. That's good enough for me!
Edit: it (to me) sounds better with finger picking than it does with a pick. I don't like using a pick. I like to feel my fingers on the strings. This is the guitar I've always wanted, but never knew existed.
She still made her own biscuits
Wow! Fantastic review. I’m in the market for a worship guitar ~500-600. How does this guitar compare to the GS Mini?
You could probably worship either guitar really.
@@longlivegarybusey6409 nice!
Have you tested this out against the Taylor gs mini?
I've never spent much time with the Taylor mini.
This needs to happen
Must happen, indeed.
It’s a beautiful guitar, I have purchased the all mahogany standard acoustic. I’m curious though what the song is that is first being played?
This guitar seems to be polarizing, but I think it sounds amazing. Great video.
can try PRS SE HALLOWBODY II PIERZO please?
best SE PRS of all time
I was torn between the Fender Joe Strummer Campfire and this Prs P20 for some time now, they're both around 500$.
Being that the Fender is Solid spruce and this PRS is Solid mahogany. But I just love the sound of a full mahogany body, Okoume and Sapele doesn't really get the job done when I was a dry warm bassy tone. So I'm going with a PRS instead. Besides they're becoming discontinued and if you want one get it now. I seen sweetwater is selling the acoustic version for 300 and the electric/acoustic for 500 now which will come to an end soon. But there's a big freakin list for the Vintage mahogany finish though. So get a black or tobacco finish while they're in. I have to wait. But these are very cool
My Parlor was made by John C. BAXENDALE....Colorado Guitar Co...
Cotten carries some of his larger guitars.....There is No Plan...shirt..
way relevant today!
Guitar sounds great , social distancing a thing of the past stateside ?
great. wanna buy some of them.
Esa acústica es justo lo que necesito en mi colección
I kind of wish PRS used a different headstock, like the Santana style
I dig the headstock. Just saying
Hold Back The River! LOL.
How is the pickup or should I install an aftermarket pickup?
Bradley's arm is bigger than that guitar 😳😂. But I just bought it (antique white) since I'm going to be living full time in an RV. Beautiful sound from a small beautiful guitar.
Really kinda wish it had more of the Santana-esq headstock
He looks like King Kong playing that thing! Lol
Would this guitar benefit with a pick up upgrade to LR Baggs Anthum Sl….can this be done?
I love prs.
looks like a single "0" size to me, sounds sweet
Nice...But i just bought a martin 0017s so I'm good
I'm trying to find measurements of this guitar. I couldn't find anywhere. When I'm talking about measurements I mean all the measurements please
Now put an LR Baggs Anthem in the other one then do a sound test.
Please tell me the nut width and lower bout width on this guitar. Thanks
Any idea when these will hit stores?
That is a really cool guitar
How much does it weight?
Really need an honest opinion here, this or the Martin lX1e
Very nice. Can You tell how wide is the nut?
42,8
love it
THis GuitaR iTs so amazing 😍 ..
I will pray 🙏 GoD To maKe mY dReaM guitar
😇 Comes in mY ReaL LiFe 💯😴
*Does it come with headphones?*
I was guessing the price to be above $1K lol
Yep
$499 no electronics, $579 with.
Are the back and sides solid or laminate? Mentioned the top being solid but not the backs and sides.
Jon Moody they’re laminate
@@worshiptutorials do you know if these are a bolt neck?
PRS P-20 IR pack by WT?
😉
Tuning buttons? (Pegs)
What is the song he plays in 3:58
It looks nice but lacks brightness to my ears. I would pass since I'm not a fan of small scale guitars.
Same to me. Still good for such a small guitar, but a little "cardboardish" to my ears.
Also when strummed, I heard quite some fret buzz, which probbably is a result of the short scale.
Is it solid mahogany back and sides or laminate?
Laminate. Solid top though.
I have one and thinking of swapping pickup to LRBaggs SL….anyone done this
You guys should check out Orangewood Guitars if you haven’t already! Amazing budget guitars!
I’ve got an Orangewood in to review! The PRS sounds/feels way better, but it’s also more expensive.
Worship Tutorials you should try one of the highland series from orangewood!! I’m curious what you’d think of those!
Worship Tutorials so excited for the orangewood review!! Woohoo
I think orangewood guitars have similar specs for $195 without and $275 with the same fishman pickups.
Paying $500-$600 makes no sense for this.
I have an Orangewood Brooklyn (that review is coming soon). It’s a GREAT guitar for the money, but this PRS is way better. At these lower price points you get a lot more guitar when you spend a bit more.
My wife bough me one of these for Fathers day . Sam Ash in NY had these in the store for 329.00 and 399.00 for the one with the pick up this week . I tried four of them in the store and walked out with a black top with the pickup .Needed something small and inexpensive to travel with . They all sounded much differant from each other , so its a good idea to try as many as you can .
Shit I need another guitar...
I need this guitar
Bendiciones. :)
The second piece that starts at 0:48 sounds much deeper in tone. What changed compared to the first piece? Also, what guage & brand of strings are on the PRS P20E that you both played here? Thanks!
Thanks! It was in drop-D :). I’m actually not sure what strings these are - they came with it. PRS told us they were D’Addario. Based on the color I’d guess Phosphor Bronze. They felt like 12’s (light).
I will say this....:
I want...!
😂😂💕💕💕💕💕
Where is it made? Price point? Materials
We literally answered all these questions in the video 🤷🏻♂️
@@worshiptutorials sorry I'm at work in warehouse. I'll watch again tomorrow. They make a lefty version yet?
China. 499. Wuhan
I don’t think they make a lefty, unfortunately. Made in China. Solid mahogany top, laminated mahogany back/sides, ebony fretboard, bone nut and saddle.
Taylor mini Gs or PRS P20E?
Bro, what string gauge did you recommend for this guitar ?
Is 0.10 good enough?
I just bought one it comes with 12s
Whats the name of the song at 9:25?
Hold back the river
@@joshualee4793 Thanks
Spend another $500 and you can get an Eastman ALL WOOD 00 ...it will sound better...
That's double the price. Completely different category so it's obvious it would sound better.
bussing
FIRSTTTTT. And no, it’s not a ukulele 💁🏻♂️
But you're second, tho...

B.P.M Chan it’s more about the size ;)
@@bmitchellmusic check out the videos. You won't be disappointed!
Seagull crushes this guitar. Made in Canada sound amazing, play amazing...500 bucks for China acoustic I’ll pass
Have you done a comparison playing on both?
Ha! I honestly guessed $500 for it.....first time even hearing about this from PRS!
There sick mate I'm getting one but there expensive
It was shared in other P20 videos and no different than my P20. The top back inside construction is sloppy. The small bracing is crudely made and glued in place. Glue smeared like it was made by a 12 year old. The tuners are junk. With a little extra money it can be a better guitar.
I opened one if those up today and its worthless unless you wanna use the fret ends to saw wood. Im very disappointed in pros and all the youtubers who led me to believe this was a worthwhile guitar
Jeez that bad??
@@snarlador yes. It seems that some oversees manufacturers are using wood that's just not cured enuph. I expect pros to remedy this and the availability of wood should get better as everything opens back up
I think i'd rather have a Taylor GSMini over this
ruim
FYI jokes are supposed to be funny
Sounds like a Parlor, incredibly Thin :(
It’s a very cool sound to me. And in a mix you’ll roll of a lot of that anyways :)
@@bmitchellmusic shoot, sorry. I should have added that its thin but that's actually what some people what :)
@@bmitchellmusic well they focus on the mid range as opposed to the low ended thick sound of larger bodies, this is why they are commonly recorded with, uses less EQ work and sit much better in the mix without so much low end to crowd the sound
Thats how they're supposed to sound.
Is this dude big or is the guitar super small? Lol
Hahahha
Made in china?
