ABOUT PALM SPRINGS
When carefree Nyles (Andy Samberg) and reluctant maid of honor Sarah (Cristin Milioti) have a chance encounter at a Palm Springs wedding, things get complicated when they find themselves unable to escape the venue, themselves, or each other.
The film stars Andy Samberg, Cristin Milioti, J.K. Simmons, Meredith Hagner, Camila Mendes, Tyler Hoechlin, and Peter Gallagher.
PALM SPRINGS is directed by Max Barbakow and written by Andy Siara. The film is produced by Andy Samberg, Becky Sloviter, Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, Dylan Sellers, and Chris Parker, and Gabby Revilla Lugo serves as executive producer. They both have a drunken personality. The chemistry is off the roof. I was smiling the whole time.
Then when the relationship fell apart I found myself really frustrated with the movie and how she was acting.

It’s not even that short a movie but it just seemed to go by in a flash and i was so shocked and disappointed when it ended. It’s just such an easy to watch and enjoyable film.

I absolutely love Time Loop movies. Even terrible ones. This movie took the overplayed narrative and introduced it in a new and fun way while keeping the RomCom jokes at a fun and tasteful level. I highly recommend giving this movie a watch and rate it as the second best loop movie I have ever seen.
Its my new favorite.

@@dgnslyr90 Yeah it's great. It has a vibe very similar to Palm Springs (it came in 2019), and is very comedic AND serious at the same time!
The end credits scene flawlessly makes me cry and I've seen it like 4 times, this movie is fantastic.

Just watched this a couple of hours ago. Honestly haven't got a bad thing to say about it. Such a fun movie with good character development and has a nice underlying message. One of the best films I've seen in a while 👍👌

I watched this back to back when it was released, then again a few months later, and then I just watched it a fourth time and that’s saying something. I usually don’t watch a movie more than once, except my top favorite movies. This movie really surprised me with how it has effected me. 9.5/10

Cristin Milioti is one of my favorite actresses, and has been since Once. She never gets enough love despite how immensely talented she is.
I'm just now realizing that. Loved her in US Callister, or whatever it was called (Black Mirror episode) right now I'm watching The Resort, I've seen all the episodes out so far and she's amazing! That's the reason why I watched this movie just now too, just to see more of her work/performances. I'm looking forward to get to know her and her career more.

I also watched this movie without knowing anything about it except that Andy Samberg is in it. Came here to see the trailer and boy it was so much better to just experience the movie without watching the trailer at all. I was genuinely surprised by the time loop.

This is seriously one of my favorite movies ever. Came out of nowhere during such a terrible time. It will make you laugh smile and cry with joy. It truly is a spectacular movie

this only clocks in around 90 minutes but the two leads have such palpable chemistry
Brings up some interesting things if the days do end up resetting; does nothing matter?, what is the point of living?, maybe we have no choice but to live but suffer existence, pain is real, what we do to people matters, what's the best thing to do when you have all the time in the world; waste time
Samberg and Milioti are truly remarkable together, the palm springs setting is bright, lush, and crisp, lots of funny bits resetting the day, and they do give neat possible explanations for the time loop
it all comes down to nobody wanting to repeat themselves and feel just as terrible all the time, there's a point we have to stop living a life that's not meant for us, and for anyone in love we'd rather be sick of the other person together than live alone forever
Barbakow takes a very familiar premise we've all been familiar with but puts a likeable funny spin on it with a dash of romance

Yeah I was rly excited for this all year and was hesitant to watch the trailer, but I watched the movie last night, and it didn't ruin much. Most of the plot stuff here is from the first few minutes.
Aryav Desai yeah it really didn’t. One of those rare perfect trailers that doesn’t show you everything but shows you enough to make you interested in the film. Just finished watching it and I thought it was pretty good and unique

I keep watching this movie over and over... Like I do with Groundhog Day and The Edge of Tomorrow (but this ones a bit too hectic). Time loop stories are food for thoughts. Palm Spring is relaxing and make me feel I'm stuck in some kind of loop too. Possibilities are endless.

Great movie!! Didn't expect it to be this good. Thought it would be just another groundhog day, but it was much better in my opinion. Hilarious, great plot, some good romance, funny characters, and a kind of cool sci-fi (ish) vibe. Definitely lives up to the 90 something percent it got in reviews.
