I think he learned much from his father before his tragic accident. I could belive that he puts everything in to tribute his father and brings the name Schumacher again in the history books of formula 1. Its the right time to join f1 for him and he have enough skill to be a champ one day.

Probably one of the keys for his champioship were his amazing race starts. So many positions gained in the first few corners in almost every race...

Yet exactly that has proven to be a hard lesson for F2 drivers new to F1. You don't win a F1 GP in the first corner. But he's smart enough to know that I think.
I know the older generation of F1 fans will be delighted by seeing the Schumacher name every race weekend

10 podiums, consistent points finisher, multiple race winner, title fight winner. He had to get that seat there was no doubt. He proved everyone wrong who thought it was only his name that got him this far. I wish him a succesful future.

I hate how people hyping him cuz of his name, He is a quality driver, hes not just a name, so when people say "we finally see another Schumacher" it annoys me, im gonna look at him as a separate driver

Schumacher's apology to Robert was honestly so heart warming
One thing I love about Prema team is that they are very calm in their calls and are crystal clear of what they want to do during races... It doesn't add stress to the driver... That's why you can give your full potential

Such a humble young man and a real talent, there is obvious pressure on him being his father's son but that's what he is, his fathers son, hes not his father, hope he creates his own unique legacy!

@@neb-yr5589 I guess they're judging leclerc's junior accomplishments vs mick's accomplishments. It isn't hard to understand that line of logic because people do it all of the time. Even you yourself judge past experiences, expectations, and future prospects.

As much as I want him to carve his own legacy,he has that Schumacher blood which makes him the best young driver
