fernando in 2012 reminds me of schumi in 97/98 or senna in 93 - arguably more impressive than the eventual champion, driving the wheels off the car all year long.
Alonso was in the form of his life in 2012. He definitely took the most out of every opportunity he had but the Ferrari F2012 wasn't as bad as some people try to make it out to be. You can't challenge for the title in F1 without a good car even if you're Alonso. The Ferrari F2012 struggled in qualifying but was a good car in race trim.
I kinda agree, McLaren was that year (if we not counting few races) definitely fastest car on the track, but because of their reliability issues, they were losing a lot of points. Red Bull was sometimes great, sometimes just "good enough". And Lotus with Mercedes (Mercedes really just on some tracks) also impressive. As you wrote, Ferrari wasn't "that bad", at least at end of the season, they started really poorly (even Sauber were quicker), but developed the car through the season, but so as Red Bull. It was a crazy season, but nevertheless, Alonso shouldn't be nowhere close to fight for the title, maybe like P5 in my opinion.
The Ferrari was awful. How Fernando got to within 3 points was a miracle and don’t forget he got taken out by the Shamiltion instigated accident at Spa and Kini ramming him in Japan. But he locked up for 300m when his best buddy Vettel was in front at Brazil
he only had 3 front row starts that year and managed to bag 13 podiums, similar thing in 2010, 3 front row starts and 10 podiums, some of the best driving ever those years full stop
Wow another underrated F1 analysis chanel. This shows just how great Alonso's fast thinking is, especially in 2012. That Sao Paulo overtake is always etched in my memory, so beautiful. U've got +1 subscriber here btw. Keep on doing this great works. 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you very much mate, I really appreciate your comment, I will continue with this 😄. Also you are spot on, Alonso himself is just pure magic and his 2012 season would be one of the best seasons in history from my point of view - it is really a shame that, even all of that wasn't enough for the title 😔.
Amazing video mate. But I suggest you put the full speed video first and then the one with the pauses and analysis. You could also use a background for the texts, a simple black square with the opacity at 60% for example, it would be better to read. You're doing a great job but there's always room for improvement.
i like the analysis before so you can rewatch the action without everything in mind. matter of taste i suppose but i think this format works really well
@@gargus6287 I will try, and see, what would be more appealing to the people. I personally like analysis also before full speed for reason you mentioned, but yeah, it would be, as it would be I guess 🤨.
it's cool that you're taking feedback well in these comments even when they're rude about it. personally i really liked the format of this video. simple and to the point
I personally like it this way (of course) also. I still recognize, that there is always room for the improvement/s. And if people (now more of them) would like to see it firstly in normal speed, I guess I am gonna try do it that way. I will see how it will go. And Thank you for your comment mate 😌.
Great analysis - things in there I wouldn't have noticed without them being pointed out (e.g. brake bias change. Reaffirms that there really is an argument for Alonso as the greatest. If you want to take it up a level, do the next analysis video with a voice-over to avoid (or minimising) the pausing to read. Watching Jolyon Palmer and Anthony Davidson to see what you can learn from their presentation if it helps. Also, a clip of the TV footage showing the moves from trackside would top it off to see the whole move.
Thank you very much mate! 😄 That's are actually great ideas for improvements, I will try to do "different things" with length of the text (Your idea of voice-over is brilliant, but I am currently not able to do that for bad microphone (even with Nvidia, and another tools to improve it) - my spelling would need to get also little bit better. For TV footage, I would see, what I would be able to do. - But I will try my best.
no need to be rude. personally i like the analysis before the full replay. i also like that they last just enough to pause the video and read them at my own pace

@@stewartgrindlay9760 it was actually grosjean that caused the incident at spa, pretty sure he got a race ban because of it.
Bro, there were races during the first half of the season where the Ferrari was Behind Redbull, Mclaren, Lotus and sometimes even Sauber
Alonso is the most cerebral cold blooded F1 racers ever IMO
he only had 3 front row starts that year and managed to bag 13 podiums, similar thing in 2010, 3 front row starts and 10 podiums, some of the best driving ever those years full stop
Could you do one of his best starts like 2013 Spain, 2004 Indianapolis, 2004 Malaysia, 2013 Singapore, etc. Also 2023 Zandvoort was really good.
That's a great idea, I will try do it soon as I will finish the next few videos, that are already in the editing process. Thank you for the tip 😄.

I love your videos ! Thank you you so much For the Quality of your content
And "only" two WDC... though he's way better than a couple drivers with more than 4 titles.
yeah, he really got unlucky for the most of his year fighting championship
Back in the day it was hard racing
and now do the best of his whole career
That season man...

please dont pause the videos, let us see normally first.
Copy that
So where is the european gp Alonso overtook Grosjean in T2 after safety car ended
Nice compilation but ffs can you just let the replay go on instead of pausing it every 0.1 seconds?
Okay, copy that. I will try do better next time mate. Thank you for feedback!
no need to be rude. personally i like the analysis before the full replay. i also like that they last just enough to pause the video and read them at my own pace
Do one with Hamilton please these are awesome
It's pretty much the same. DRS and rocket engine. The Hamilton from 2007-2012 was prime, the rest... no comments.
Without comment would be much better, not your all comment are correct
Okay mate, I understand, I will try do better next time. Also Thank you for feedback!
you stopped this video too much... unwatchable dude
You don't need to stop the video every half a second. It's unbearable to watch.
And why do you write about something that I can see?
I tried to "analyze" the overtake, but I can see where you coming from, I will try to do a better job next time. Thank you for feedback!
It is called analisis not replays. Some people may not notice details that you have noticed.
