Honestly when there was only 1 spot left and looked which songs are left I realized they all were good. Usually it is pretty easy to write off songs.
@@Rainaman- - agreed. Usually I can pick a definite group of "top songs", but this year it's just so hard. Every country has sent a grand final worthy song. In any other year, these songs would have made the final. 2021 really has "come back bigger and stronger". This is a "strong year" dialled up to 11.
An absolutely underrated, unique, quirky, interesting, vocally stunning gem, both in terms of song and singer.
Maybe a bit too 'out there' for the Eurovision audience, but to me unforgettable and one of the best of 2021!

I find her singing style to be really annoying. That’s why I couldn’t get into this song. This is my first listening to the full song, and it’s still a no for me
It is, she has an incredible control over it, I’m sorry for her that the song wasn’t the best, the chorus is the weakest part in my opinion, but I love those parts when you can hear her voice rapidly changing tone. Although in general I’d give the song a 5/10 I think she does a flawless work in performing it, should have gone through.

how would that affect the performance? I didn't even realize she wasn't in Rotterdam.
The fact she's not there limited her chances of having a magnificent staging. so she was stuck with a small studio in Sydney and had to rely on camera tricks throughout the 3 minute performance.

Even as an Australian, I really wished they didn’t let her try again - the last song reminded me of a clown in a circus and this one is just as embarrassing. The first time we didn’t make the final - it doesn’t surprise if this is what we have. Literally anyone else - I suggest Sheldon Riley for example.

I agree but I do understand why this song didn't qualify. It's because the rehersals were made to see the performances of the singers during live and technicolour has a lot of high notes and unfortunately montaigne wasn't able to reach all of them
IMO, this was the worst entry Australia sent since they began competing in 2015 in Vienna. I almost fell asleep.

I remember how two years ago I watched her performance live and didn’t send SMS because I was sure that she would be qualified (I'm from Ukraine). What was my surprise when I found out that only Ukraine and Russia voted for it.
She could have released a safe radio ready song (Sweden) or dance her ass off like Cyprus is doing lately, but she opted to stick with her artistic integrity. She did her best despite the circumstaces. She really deserved to qualify as we rarely get artists as talented and innovative as this girl.
Ppl wanted Greece-2018 To win but she didnt even qualified. Only 10 countries qualify in the semi-finals and she was prob 11th in the semi-final

Sorry but do you really think this is better sung than for example Switzerland, France or Malta did? I don't think so. The song started off pretty well, but the refrain is one of the worst of the competition in my opinion. I think the level of this song is around the level of The Netherlands, Germany, UK and Spain. This is my opinion about this song.
@@bramza8853 Switzerland and France did have stunning performances and great vocals. Malta had a wobbly semi but her final was incredible. No Australia wasn't the best. But definitely top 10. Her vocals matches those of France and Switzerland and Italy. Regardless... all 39 songs have been downloaded
