A few months post-Eurovision and this is the only song that I can remember the melodies vividly.. and the only song that my brain reminds me of every now and then.. and the only track I actually come back and listen to. The singing voice is just extremely unique and vulnerable. Not qualifying for a semi-final at the EV doesn't have any bearing on whether that track was a success or not, but how it connects with and affects people.
I know you will probably not see this, but I hope you don't let your own media's reaction ruin your experience.

I´ve had this song in my Top 5 since it was first released because it is ONE of a FEW songs that I feel is the most different, unique and original in this year´s ESC lineup. Honestly going over all of the 2021 and that wear was truly something to remember. You don't see this creativity often in Eurovision. You certainly don't in 2022
Fr i just watched the 1st semi final of 2022 euro vision and i only liked liked 3 songs and only one of them was somewhat creative but 2021 euro vision was full of bangers with this, malta, france, Úcráine, Azerbaijan, Israel and so much more.

2020: 🇱🇹 Lithuania, 🇺🇦 Ukraine and 🇦🇺 Australia.
2021: 🇱🇹 Lithuania, 🇦🇺 Australia and 🇺🇦 Ukraine.
Conclusion: I love 🇦🇺Australia at Eurovision (sadly I've never been to Australia so I really can't say I love the country but I very much think I would) and I love Montaigne. In my humble opinion, Technicolour is so much better than Don't break me, even though I love both! 🏳️🌈♀️💪🏻
