Thank you so much Dude! I just got my Dbl Bass Pedals today & you gave out some really good pointers! The Recoil sync & ensuring our tension is adjusted right so that we get 4 - 5 recoils after striking!
Thanks for the video! Totally different way of checking double pedal adjustments that I haven't seen before. I'm going in to test mine now! Bonus points for quickly getting to the point and not starting the vid with a 3 minute drum solo and/or 5 minutes of a song forced down the viewer's throat just to get to the content! (Wow....I think I just unloaded some deep down, repressed anger towards some other people's videos - sorry 'bout that!) Thanks again!
When i push my beaters to the bass drum and let go, the left pedal does 3 returns then stops whereas my right pedal does about 20 ish but its in sync for one bounce is there any way of fixing it thanks in advance
Sounds like your direct link bearings are trashed! I replaced mine with regular linear bearings, 625 size IIRC. I replaced the heel plate bearings as well.
Bro I tighten the screw all the way the screw that’s holding the beater in and the beater still twists and turns and eventually flies out of the hole, idk how to securely make it stay. Sorry if I don’t make sense haha
Great video, man. The recoil thing is from a really old Dave Lombardo Clinic in Italy ;)

I just got my double pedals and this was extremely assuring and helpful for me. Thanks!!!
putting a second spring on the slave pedal at around 10 percent on the tension really helps with the evenness

This is a excellent explanation of how to tune your pedals. Thank you!
Just the answer I was looking for! Nice
great advice. Gonna try that
This is super helpful. Thank you.
Great video man
Good job dude!
thank u!
Good video bro! You look a lot like Murr from Impractical Jokers!
I have the iron cobra 600, with a dw beater. The pedal that’s loose is the second bass pedal.
Thanks man. Useful stuff. I'm thinking of going for either Tama 900 series or the direct drive of any company. Which do you recommend for fast hertas?
Dude thx for the video

Also, when do you think you should buy new springs for your pedals?
