I do love those BYD E200EVs. They’re lovely buses. I’ve rode quite a few with your company, and I’ve also rode them with Stagecoach London and Stagecoach South. Absolutely amazing vehicles.
I'm used to the roads in South London because I've lived there my whole life. I've been to South Kensington in 2008. I went to the National History Museum and the Science Museum. Both museums were very fun, especially the science museum because of the grain machine. I was 8 years old and I loved to play with the grain machine.
Hong Kong recently got some electric single decker buses from BYD too ❤ Can't wait to try them one day :D
Similar in Dublin we have an announcement that says "please exit bus by centre doors" and its sometimes played on single door buses.

I was at the Royal Albert Hall at Christmas for the carols last year. The building was celebrating 150 years. An amazing place.

The 7 (Oxford Circus to East Acton and the 245 (Golders Green to Alperton Sainsbury’s) uses Wright StreetDecks which are double decker hydrogens.
In my opinion, electric buses in the modern era are better than the normal buses because they are important for keeping the environment as clean as possible and reduce pollution.

These are "Don't look back" buses to be featured in the DDA action film Speed: Don't Look Back. Instead of the speed of the bus the bus driver isn't allowed to look back otherwise it will blow up, the bad guy uses a camera to make sure DDA doesn't look back.

To me they were just annoying roads, pavements and traffic, waiting for, and boarding a bus was a blessing, regardless of north or south.
There is a upstairs on an ssingle decker... it's the roof lol 🤣

3:48 there are some hydrogen buses on the route 7 which goes to Oxford Circus and East Acton. There are also a few hydrogen buses on the 245 from Golders Green to Alperton Sainsbury’s. Both routes are operated by Metroline. Those hydrogen buses are in fact Wright-bodied also.
the hydrogen buses on the RV1 went to the 444 route which is the chingford - Turnpike Lane one however now those are gone as well I believe.

Good memories to those routes and buses, but where the 444 used to live is no longer TT, Stagecoach are now running the show in east London, they even took over the small company (which i worked for) in hackney off mare st and the other garage in walthamstow
Yes but not in terms of driving. I don’t play certain drill songs in my car when I’m in south or certain drill songs when I’m in North, otherwise I’ll be murdered 😂😂😂

Actually South London is better because its roads are very large.
Only hydrogen buses about are on the 7s and 245s oit of perivale and i think abellio have their first wrightbuses using the hydros on route 111 I believe?
just a question, when your driving a single decker bus, do you feel like the bus has more power or no?
It doesn't roll round corners like a double decker, but it feels the same, as the weight is similar.

What is it with the 360 Ant? When im driving thru South Kenzo on 49 or even when im on the 70s, i see the 360 long on my first half, and then later on its shrunk🤷🏽♂️
🤣im joking i know you guys have different SEes, i drove them on the 214 and 153 which are different to the ones used on 507 and the other route at Waterloo (forgotten the numbers, got so many in my head) (521?) lol

Most of the fleet is hybrid as of right now but there are still alot of diesels roaming london

Hi Anton how are you doing ? When I spent years working on buses 🚍 they were pretty dirty back then. But they really are clean now as they don’t pollute at all now. So yes I might prove to be a bit of a dinosaur 🦖 but I don’t think we should be moving away from diesel ⛽️ or petrol. But I do support hybrid powered vehicles but not electric. As I say it’s just my view Anton. Vehicles more so buses 🚍 started to get really clean around 1997 as I remember reving up a Volvo B10M coach in the garage & no wreak came out the tail pipe same with PS buses 🚍 as it was R reg upwards they started to get really clean pollution wise Pal. So going electric is the wrong move because you can’t recycle ♻️ the used batteries so they end up in a landfill tip. So nowt clean about that folks.
