Thank you! I am a single mom and we have this handy so i can still cook in case a hurricane knocks our power out. I had no idea how to use it. lol
Thanks for the tips, sir. Was always cautious of using ANYTHING with gas! This short video takes a lot of the fear out of the process-- especially the step in which you 'bleed' the remaining gas fumes out of the hose, once the tank is turned off. I appreciate your channel.
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH..ME AND MY HUSBAND WAS SCARED AS HECK... YOU HELPED US OUT A LOT 😇😊
Me too.. 😂😂😂😂
Yo im scared rn 😂
I'm scared as hell too but I'm bout to buy one soon 😆
@@Avenue77 LOL update we got it together and we love it...We use it to have fish fries when a few folks come over... Best tip we learned is "only use Peanut Oil"... it cooks perfect, taste better and won't burn up the food fast like other oils...it cost a lil more but we use it everytime we just get the big gallon jug from walmart...it last a good while. He not scared anymore. 😂♡♡ but I still won't light it lol..
Glad to know I'm not the only scary cat 😂🤣🤦🏾

Hi! New subscriber! Could you please tell me how to turn it off and detach from outdoor stove? I’m so nervous 😩 Thank you for this tutorial!!
I would’ve asked my dad but he hasn’t returned since he left for cigarettes 🚬 Overall great vid 👍🏽
LOL, Glad to be of help
😩😩😩😩😩
same but my father is on his way home right now, so he said 18 years ago☹️
Y'all got me worried . Fr 💁♀️
Maybe I’m wrong but when I shut down I turn off the tank first then let what ever is left in the lines burn and then turn burner off. Let me know if it’s good idea. Great video
The sound of the gas right before he lights it is memorizing
I’m still lost lol or maybe cause it’s 3:00am but I just had a brain fart 😂
Get some rest
Thanks for this video very important and when I am living in a house there will be no fish frying inside NO sir ree bob at ALL SO family BETTER TAKE note
do you know how to change the cord/regulator because my dog chewed it of and idk if I have to buy a whole new one. my grill is exactly like yours and everything!! please help
Came here from King of the hill and said oh well what the hell
I have about the same setup. It brand new. I read the instructions in the manual and your instructions were the same. My problem is that the flame is invisible. I have tried changing the air flow but that doesn't change anything. Any ideas would be a great help. Thanks
I have one just like this but with a button to allow propane through. The button doesn't wanna stay. Any suggestions?
Hey, so while frying a Turkey, I leave the propane tank all the way open right?
You should only crack your propane valve about 1/4 turn for safty. If something bad happens you want to be able to turn off the gas quickly and you gain no extra pressure by opening the valve past a quarter turn. Good video though.
Question can somebody please answer. When I turned the Bootle on and then I turn the regulator on I smelled the gas are you supposed smell gas when you turn it on. I never lit the burner cuz I smelled gas on cut it off
Did you build this one?
this is my first time using a burner and propane tank don't know if it's hooked up wrong or what but when i open the valve slowly on the tank gas is coming through the burner and my regulator is all the way closed i don't think it's suppose to do that and when i try to control it with the regulator valve it does nothing only goes up and down if i turn it up using the valve on the tank..........could anybody help me? is the regulator messed up or what? do i need to get another regulator? and its a spring that i didn't put on but i don't know where it goes where do i put it?...............help would be greatly appreciated
Did that freeze in cold weather? Is that safe in cold weather?
Why does mine cut off after about 10 or 15 minutes? Then I have to restart it
My 1st time I felt nervous
My burner had been operating fine but all of a sudden my flame petered out and now I don't hear any gas flow when I open the regulator. The tank is full and ignites a different burner just fine. Any thoughts?
If you open the regulator to fast it might have a safety device that blocks the gas flow. Turn off and open slowly
Thank you ❤
What color is the flame on these burners ? Yellow or blue ?
I refer blue but these things are tricky and sometimes works better with yellow
Is it OK to open the regulator up all the way for a more powerful flame? Or should it only be opened up half way?
Lorenzo Botello Fully opened is the only way to go, that way the valve back seats and less chance of a leak at the valve.
OP misunderstood your question. Go ahead and open up your regulator all the way to get maximum BTU's when cooking. The propane tank valve is supposed to be an open/closed isolation. open that up all the way and then adjust the gas flow with your regulator to get your desired flame. This is literally what the regulator has been designed to do.
SharkBiscuit thanks for the reply! I ask because one evening I was doing. Seafood boil and had the regulator opened all the way and the hose ended up melting/busting near the connector. So I figure maybe it wasn’t supposed to be turned all the way open. Maybe it was just a cheap hose.
