To bypass the timer, remove the thermocouple at borrom then remove the silver barrel. Pop out sping mechanism and at top of the spring there's a rubber washer and metal ring, remove both of those then put everything back.

And to really do it right unscrew that timer shutoff and sc4ew the hose to tge regulator. Throw the timer in the kitchen draw

i don't believe it will work. you won't even hear gas flowing without getting the green light if you can find an old school hose/regulator you can bypass it all .... also what is a maple syrup boil?

@@aviatorque6905 Hi thanks for the reply. A maple sap boil is a how we make maple syrup from our maple tree. One tree produced 30 gallons! Grabbed the tv remote control batteries and started it up. Clamped the safety alive and I got 11 hours in one day. Thanks again!

I bought one today. The instructions are complete shit.. I mean useless. And it was a pain in the ass to get the gas to flow. The safety control will be gone the next time I use it
