I just had my Cerwin Vega 15 inch power sub die on me, and after searching reviews I decided on an SVS pb2000 pro. A little nervous going from a 15 to a 12 inch sub and paying twice the price but I'm sure hoping the quality will shine through and make it worth it. Kinda wish it had a metal grill (like my Cerwin does) but maybe the cloth will have a more elegant feel, I just don't want my kids accidentally ripping it. I wonder if I can purchase a metal grill?

Thanks "Spare Change"! Been hoping for a review on this one... it's the reason I haven't pulled the trigger on Dual PB4000s. I was really curious about these because the ratings were soooooo close and the price was so much lower for the 2000Pro. I'm convinced I need the bigger dual 4000s after this review. I want to feel my guts and I think the only way to go is the 4000. Thanks again!

The port is tuned to 22 Hz, in my room it goes flat down to like 21 - 22 Hz before it starts to drop. In the sweet spot with my dad's Infinity Kappa 70s (Normally use this sub with my Monitor Audio bronze 1). I got around 114 dB at 38 Hz. You'll be surprised by what it does for the size. Beats the SB-2000 in the output below 40 Hz, probably the SB-2000 pro as well.
