I have a PB 2000. Never even heard of SVS until your vids. Got an Ultra Center and bookshelf front. Due to “life changes”, moved into an apartment in Huntington Beach, and now just moved back to Reston. I soooooo want some Ultra fronts or Prime fronts, but don’t think my neighbors would deal. That Trinnov makes my “person” move every time you show that atmos analyzer….haha…ok, maybe I had some Bourbon with that beer.
Excellent review definitely keep the sound measurements in future reviews
Heard one of these the other day. Very impressed considering the size.
Keep the content coming, another great video. What’s crazy is those kef’s are only 1 inch bigger in speaker size and can make twice the bass of this thing. Also twice the price haha
I'm not a subwoofer afficionado but I'd say the 3000 Micro (which I own in white) joins a very short list of subs that can appear in a living room and not seem out of a place. The others are:
-B&W PV1D (for obvious reasons)
-KEF PSW 3500 - with its oval wooden cabinet in maple and cherry it's best looking sub of all time by a million miles. No one would think it's a subwoofer when they saw it and would think it's a real piece of furniture. It was part of the Q series circa 2008 and you may argue the best looking speaker series of all time for the money - we shall never see anything like it. Credit where credit is due...
- B&W DB3D in white (the shiny base and trims allow it to be shown off without the grilles and look nice in a Technics SU-R1000 manner)
-REL T series in white (very well appointed)
and the SVS 3000 Micro. Mine sits behind an acoustic two-tone wood guitar and actually complements the space.
Afaik, these are the only choices where your living room survives or is improved by the addition of a subwoofer. As Shane showed with the measurements, the dual 3000 Micro is better and probably the best dual configuration due to its small size factor and also its very conventional but clean design. That scene of the 3000 Micro next to the larger sub says it all. 😃Micro all the way outside a dark dedicated home theater.
How can the 3000 Micro be improved? Stability in the 20-30hz range like the 1000 and 3000 SVS. Do that, we're done 😁😁😁 It's an endgame sub for the majority of homes.
I just got mine yesterday. Love it so far.
They made Palpatine palpable😅🤣😂. Shane has the best reaction faces in his videos.
I like his mole

Dude, that palpable part had me spit beer on my laptop.
Hopefully SVS will create a dual 10" version next.
They should be able to get the same performance with 8 inch drivers as the SB1000 and 3000. The B&W DB3D has twin 8 inch like this one and digs down to 10hz albeit for 4 times more but B&W overcharges by a factor of 2x for everything now so $1,750 for other brands. The KF92 and particularly the KC62 also show that smaller subs can hit hard.
SVS should be able to find a way to maintain a more even response down to 23 hz like its siblings (1,000 and 3000) then drop off a bit slower. Control in the 20/23-30hz is what this lacks. If they can do that in the 2nd gen, it’ll be perfect and if anyone can do that in the subwoofer business, it’d be SVS.
Great review Shane!
These are great little subs for people who want to add one in every corner of their HT.
You should try "Live free or Die Hard" when the jet chases John McClane in the truck. When the bridge collapses there is some serious bass.
Hi,
I don’t have a dedicated theatre room just the lounge shared with the wife.
I have a focal Sib Evo Atmos set up but with a SW800 replacing the cub.
Would the micro subs enhance the bass for this set up ?
Do you know the Anthem receiver can receive updates just like the Trinnov Like Oral 3-D
Great review
Nice OJ gloves~ 🧤
😂
If the sub fits
@@morriford you must equip~
I thought I was watching an episode of Dexter 🤣😂
@@SpoolyT well played , well played indeed 🤣😂
Please guide me the perfect subwoofer model for my 220sqft dedicated theatre room with combination of Denon 2700
perfect for apartment living
That’s what SVS marketing are targeting small places 👌
What is the center channel speaker? Focal?
Hey man. Would be great to get the time stamp of the clips you are running :)
I like the Dexter murder gloves
Seems like a good SUB for a small apartment with both music and TV audio?
How do these compare to the SVS PB 1000 Pro?
Great review buddy. Look forward to the next one.
I would imagine that 4 would be the absolute ideal number in my own home theater. One in each corner….can you imagine?
Dunno, 2 far superior subs for the same money?
If you have a similar size HT to the one in the video, there's really not a reason to get Micro over 4 SB-2000 Pro for the same price. It'll hit WAY harder.
I picked Micro primarily for music -- but would have gone for a big sub if HT was priority.
I'm good with my Arendal 1961 Sub 1S's
On the svs 3000.micro, what is the svs soundpath wireless audio adapter port for on the back of the svs sub?
And where do you get the cabel? Please share a link to get cabel.

How is it? Do you like it?

Small but mighty like many things in life.
I would recommend 8 of those for any serious audiophile. I would stack four of them on either side.
A “serious audiophile“ wouldn’t use “8 of those” in any configuration. Get real.

For a large room would you go with one micro 3000 or one SB2000Pro? As my wife tells me - Size doesn't matter. Looking for the most volume and low end extension. Enjoy your channel.
PC 2000 or 4000
If WAF is an issue, 4 of these should do well in medium sized room or smaller.
You still won't get more extension. just smoother response
@@droidzhunterz6861 of course but if you are limited by size, you may as well get the smoothest bass from every sitting position.
I'd rather have 2-4 KF92's. Almost as small but have alot more extension.
What libary software is this with all your movies ?
Looked like Kodi.
(formerly known as XBMC I think)
Are these the best of the smaller subs? Could you maybe give me a list.
I'm coming from 2 definitive tech supercube 3.
Those subs hit.... until they quit working a year after u get them fixed. 😢😂
The best of the smaller subs is the KF92. 😊
They almost got me until I saw their price
I'm not a Subwoofer expert but why does something that small have 800 watts?
Cause.... they love it and you will too
Mini Thumper.
gotta go to the store and get something other than the OJ gloves...
10 of these vs 2 JTR captivators, asking for a friend, LMK in 100 words or less in the next 10 minutes plz.
JT what??? 🤷🏻♂️🤔
@@therealshanelee I dunno, like I said it was my friend asking not me, maybe he meant JL Audio Fathom F212, how does 10 of these compare to one of those? I need to know, ready to buy, I want to brake my widows with the bass.
@@NemoPropaganda JTR, small boutique company that puts out REAL serious bass. i have both a JTR Cap 2400 ULF and and SVS Micro 3000....and with the JTR's you wont even be able to tell that the SVS subs are on. Its that much better, plus the low end....the JTR's will play 20hz with more SPL than the Micro's are capable of at all.
@@Toxie2725 oh hey man i was just trolling :). Me and shane are friends so I just leave silly comments sometimes for fun. Thanks for being classy and actually answering it though :)
If a Chihuahua could be a subwoofer…
I am so disappointed with SVS , this is the worst sub they made . I heard them they sounded like the ones that comes with soundbar
That must be some impressive soundbar package. Every respected reviewer have been very impressed with these micro's and destroy everything in it's size range under $2500. Of Steve Gutenberg is impressed them everyone should be impressed unless they are expecting 18" and 2000w for their $800
@@shaneducholke364 please hear them - you will be surprised
@@shaneducholke364 Don’t mess with the Gutenberg the guys a legend
@John Rogers I guess it all comes down to what you consider as decent. I've never heard these but the ones that are slightly cheaper than these and without size constraints would be what I would call 'entry level'.
The problem with the internet is people can state an opinion when they haven't even listened to or seen a product. Make a video showing you have the product in your possession and show your measurements and I will listen to your opinion. Until then you are just typing away on your keyboard.
