Cash is definitely necessary as soon as you leave ANY major city. Especially if you want to support the actual real local businesses which by the way won’t look super fancy but even a bit decrepit, but those are the real places to get food
For the people seeing this video its a scam. Portugal is one of the most expensive countries in Europe way more than Spain, Italy and almost as the Netherlands. The rents are the 3rd most expensive in the EU, and thanks to the influx of foreigners Portuguese are leaving Portugal, because its unbareble to live there
And of course you just had to blame immigrants for everything that’s wrong in the country. You no doubt are an immigrant too, so natives in the country you’re in will view you the exact same way.
“I hate surfing and the water”😂 does that mean you put all that work into learning but you hate it? if so that’s too funny. and you hate the water?😂i have never heard someone say that in my life

Waves- praia do norte, nazaré, leiria, portugal Yes, you can go and watch them (specially now in winter it may be better looking) but by the photo's i have seen, the ppl there look like they are 1 metre away from getting washed out by a wave😶 And i do recommend bringing cash. Although you don't need to, it is always a good practise❤
Another thing that's absolutely ridiculous is the isolation of the apartments. In too warm and summer too cold. I think even in Kenia the buildings are better constructed. Portuga is definitely one of the poorest European countries
Aqui na minha cidade usamos muito o cartão (região centro, capital de distrito mas não capital do país) mas dá sempre jeito ter umas moedas ou umas notas à mão.
Several months ago I reached Lisbon by bus. I rode my wheelchair to the train terminal - and was shocked there was no information desk. LISBON IS A CAPITAL CITY. I found a friendly security guard who directed me downstairs to the trains, but of about 10 lifts, only 3 were operational - none of those went downstairs to the trains. Finally I found a kind little old lady who helped me purchase a ticket, got a hold of my small suitcase. She recruited a young man to help with my wheelchair and yet another young woman to help me down the escalators. It's too long of a story to detail other disappointments, but in a nutshell I do not recommend solo mobility impaired to travel to Lisbon.
You are thinking to live here only in 40$ a day? The minimum hotel is 35€ a day, you will spend at least 3€ in breakfast and 20€ for lunch and dinner. You will pay 3€ for each trip to metro. How can you do only these things within 50$?
@@Christian.Grossi man, which hostel are you talking about? Cooking facilities are not available in all hostels. Portugal is a city?? Wow! You blew my mind man. Learn something new everyday. Here I was thinking it was a country like an ignorant fool. Glad you’re here to educate me 🤗
Sinatra is a waste of time and money to begin with and bolt is not the mode of travel there.. I was just there last week for 3 weeks and the cabs were cheap enough and quicker!
If you go to Lisbon, ignore what this guy says and BRING CASH!! Most places only take cash. Also look out for pickpockets they are everywhere. My aunt lost her phone in central Lisbon.
Why did he upload a video with such an obvious fuck up. He should take it down and re upload and at the same time he should wear a mask to hide his face.
If you didn't need cash, you were very lucky. I find that I need cash all the time here in Setúbal! Even in Lisbon I've experienced places that don't take card.
In terms of cash, if u were to go to malls or grocery stores or big stores, yes u won't need any cash, however if u r staying in anywhere that isn't a city, cash is very necessary, many small shops don't except card
Accommodation here, for a small moldy apartment that is about to fall of, is 300€, not only that but 10€ in this country only can get you 2 packages of juice and olive oil
@veracorreia4579 agreed this smug kid keeps showing up in my feed. He literally travels to places for a few days then does videos like he discovered these places and has great insight.

Since when Portugal is a city?
CR7
City....
I am Portuguese so this is perfect for me
Number 6 no hook up culture with Portuguese people
what I love about the city of Portugal is that it's really close to Russia so you can go walking there to play with the polar bears
Sounds pretty nice for a 4.5 out of 10, did you mean out of 5?
10 being expensive
Another thing you should how.. real estate speculation by foreigners is making impossible for locals to buy or rent a house
E os salários são demasiado baixos😢

is a country located on the Iberian Peninsula,
in southwestern Europe.
Omg I'm from Portugal and the capital is Lisbon and its not a City
Bro did you meet ronaldo ?
4.5 ou of 10 really?
Portugal has the best prices but only gets a 4.5 out of 10?
4.5/10 for price... 8.4 for the country
Stop promoting Portugal! find other way of making money, greedy!

The water is frigid and the food sucks. Outside of that I guess it’s a decent place.

4.5 out of 10?!?! Boy wtf is wrong with u?
Uber is NOT available everywhere in Portugal. Not in all of the small towns and villages. It wasn’t even available in Peniche!

4.5/10 on the Expensive scale
