- This guy (Tommy Lee) was the reason I picked up a pair of sticks at age 12! When I ever saw this lanky (make up wearing) dude busting out of the background and stealing the spotlight I knew I had to play drums. His drum solo on the "Theater of Pain" album showed me that drummers no longer had to be hidden in the back. His loud flashy style was just what I needed to break out of my shell and rock out! This one's for you Tommy! Thank you!!

First off, I really like your setup. Second, you nailed the song - well done! The only critique I have is the sound quality - at times there is some distortion. Other than that - frickin' awesome.
Thank you Mark! Yeah I like it loud but sometime I overdrive the recording as my engineering skills are still a bit lacking…I am always trying to get the mix just right. Should have gone to audio school instead of video 😂

Exactly! On Vdrums you can program the head and rim to be two different sounds essentially doubling the amount of instruments you can play. It’s very convenient!
Very well almost identical to the original grooves and fills of study ... Drumdog could you share the lines that you use recording terms? Are you using a Roland td20 module, a computer and some program to record on a computer and one to mix audio and videos? It would be interesting if you could describe those lines of recording and editing ... everything, I thank you in all ways. regards...
To-20 expanded. Stereo outs to a DAT recorder. No software. Mix stereo track to original track on Reaper. Then video edit with Corel Videostudio 2018
