Thanks Devan for making this helpful video. I had the exact problem with my 2002 Pathfinder. I ordered the following parts from Amazon M6-1.0 x 35mm Flanged Hex Head Bolts, and the Knock Sensor 22060-30P00 with Harness Wire. I decided to leave my original blue male connector that’s connected to the knock sensor alone. So I went to the junk yard and picked up another blue male connector. I connected the blue male connector to the knock sensor harness wire. The knock sensor was mounted as described in this video. I then connected the blue male connector to the blue female connector.
I made my own harness jumper. I'm hoping to locate the same plug you did in the bone yard. So l can set up plug n play as you did. Thanks for a great video
This video helps so much thank you for taking the time to show and explain this. I had the same problem with only finding info on the 3.3 not the 3.5, you are a life saver.
Thanks So Very Much for Your Video, I'm Really Wondering If You Had to Splice the Wires of Did Cutting the Plastic Cover Off Work for It! I've Got a 2002 3.5L V-6 4×4 Nissan Pathfinder Too and I'm Being Charged 1,150.00 Plus Tax to Do this Very Same Thing
Your saying a mechanic would take 5-6 hours. I called a shop for a friend to get a $ estimate. $300 for labor so I don't think the estimated time is more than 3? Just sayin. Also please give us a follow up on this, thanks.
This video is wrong on so many levels the knock sensor is connect the wire harness with the fuel injectors the plug he connect it with is for the O2 sensor
This 100 percent works. I just performed this on my 2004 3.5L v6 4x4 pathfinder. Knock sensor code is gonen

Hey where did you find the wire harness at for the knock sensor
I know you say 99 Maxima will work, but what did you order? (You say numerous things throughout both videos, and it's confusing.)
