i'd recommend a film called "I Trapped The Devil", you might like it.
We appreciate your recommendations. Keep up the good work.
Thanks, Sophia!
Wow, I am so intrigued by The Eight Mountains. Looks absolutely stunning. Thanks for the recommendation
I've been loving these recommendations every month! Really excited to check these out
Thanks, Logan!
Great list! Guardians was very good. My favorite MCU movie in a long time. I saw The Cow Who Sang a Song Into the Future at Sundance and it took a while for me to warm up to it but I’m now willing to say it is great. BlackBerry was also great. I can’t wait to see what Matt Johnson does next. I missed The Eight Mountains at Sundance but I am looking forward to it. I’m also looking forward to RMN because 4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days is one of my favorite films of all time.
BlackBerry just missed my list... Maybe if I had seen it beforehand. Yeah, Matt Johnson is an exciting filmmaker to watch and I've only seen The Dirties.
cinephile! i began getting your Cult House videos reccomended, id love to see you reignite that series
Thanks for the recommendations ❤
Thanks for watching!
i'm so hyped for Moon Garden, I want so badly for it to play somewhere in Utah. Unlikely, sadly
I've seen RMN. It's a powerful look at how racism can grip a town. There's a sequence of a town meeting, an unbroken 17 minute shot, which is clearly the work of a masterful director.
I was debating whether or not to see The Eight Mountains, which opens near me this Friday. You ended my debate. Now I am definitely going. Thanks.
Whew, I might not be emotionally ready for RMN. Let me know what you think of The Eight Mountains!
@@cineflect Saw it today and absolutely loved it. Thanks for pushing me to see it.
Guardians is a pretty big step down from the first 2 for me but an unsurprising entry in this era of the MCU. Lots of forced, obvious emotional manipulation and an awful hit ratio of jokes. Way too much to balance.
I saw RMN about a year ago. Good shit! Not Mungiu's greatest moment by a wide margin, but still chilling and immaculately put together. Maybe a bit too broad in its critique, but definitely worth a watch.
The Eight Mountains is STILL the only movie from last year's Cannes competition that I haven't seen yet. Really interested in finally checking it out... too bad it finally came out right when I left for THIS year's Cannes.
Appreciate your takes as always, Julian. Man, I wish I was on my way to Cannes right now. Someday I hope to join you...
I would put GOTG Vol. 3 behind the other two as well, but it's not that far behind in my book. Also, it has one of my favorite action sequences in the entire MCU ("No Sleep Till Brooklyn" baby.)
Let me know when you catch up with The Eight Mountains. Can't wait to hear about your Cannes experience.
when's your 2022 stats video coming?
Before my 2023 stats video 😏
@cineflect , thanks:)
Drop the bahubali review please 😂👀😊
Oh man, I have SO MUCH to say.
Where the fuck is Beau is afraid?
Beau Is Afraid handedly won April. In case you missed it, here's my review: czcams.com/video/ve5TI3tArCc/video.html
yO is that Amber Heard?
Haha, no, that would've been... a choice. It's Margaret Qualley in Sanctuary.
