Yes, I have seen this documentary and thought it was very thought-provoking and depressing at the same time - probably because I am closer to Dick Johnson's situation than I'd like to be. I'm glad you shared this film with us. I hope more people watch it.

Such high praise! Happy to find another DICK JOHNSON acolyte :) While it certainly made me cry, I've been crying during movies most of my life (ha).

Kirsten Johnson is able to make films unlike any other director I've seen. They have a sense of wisdom, and emotion that really complements the films as a whole.

I found this movie fascinating. This movie is kind of like a fantasy. Trying to cheat death and what is on the other side of the door. I agree with all the things you said. I found this movie as a comedy with dark moments, not a dark comedy. I'm not the director, this is what I think. This movie in one person's mind is only dark and not funny. "How can you do this!?" That is the whole point, the reason that they are doing this is to be together like you said. I complement glorious thoughts on the movie. My own thoughts are I want to see Cameraperson really bad now and I want to see Johnson's next movie right when it comes out.
