Fan voting was a good idea when the thought was that fans would vote for underrated deserving players instead of just their starting 9 for their favorite team.
Let coaches, managers, & owners anonymously vote for the all stars, & bring back the all star game meaning something.
Home field advantage for the World Series were good stakes. Bring back AL/NL competition. I like the DH in both leagues, but I also loved them having their own identities. I can still feel the difference between AL/NL, but that’s just based on personal & long term fandom.
Bring a skills competition like Japan does in addition to the derby. Let guys get appreciated for their skill sets that have potential pivotal changes to a game. Let fair weather fans understand baseball more on a deeper level. Baseball can do so much more & create league competition in the process.

Jesse Chavez deserves to go to the all star game holding the best era for a reliever. Would be a great feel good story MLB needs

The brewers are the luckiest team in MLB. The Rockies literally made outs for Dallas keuchel tonight and then let the brewers score in the 9th. They aren’t the only team that is letting the brewers win either. It needs to be investigated!
