Big time Rays fan here. Civale was about to become a bullpen guy soon. Shane Baz moving up and Springs shortly. Got better arms.
Solid buy low trade for Arnold and the Brewers. Guessing the pitching lab in Milwaukee has seen something that they think they can fix.
Any pitcher would feel good about going to the brewers. When he has three shortstops playing the infield for him. Suprised the brewers havent found a shortstop to play first yet 😅
Monasterio has gotten some time at 1B
There is some SERIOUS talent on this podcast!
yes!
Brewers & Rays often match up well. Maybe Milwaukee calls back asking for Eflin?!
No one is catching the Brewers in the central . They are not the type of team to turn it off and this team is the most hungry team in baseball . They will be at the top at the end . They should sign Bauer from Mexico and really try to win something amazing with the roster they have now. They have all they need to win minus a ACE pitcher . Myers is becoming an ACE as a rookie. Hudson is an ACE reliever and Williams is coming back this month as the best closer in baseball. Keoing is also an ace reliever when healthy along with so many bull pen guys who are super good in their own right . The starters are not super but they are 3 ERA guys and that will get them the Central . But if they want to win something they never have they are the perfect spot for Bauer to show up to and carry this starting rotation into a World Series.
Teams let the brewers win. They shouldn’t be winning this much- it’s clear they use the money they don’t spend on the roster to pay other teams to let them win.
@@Jeff76767I think it’s time you put down the crack pipe.
@@Jeff76767the fuck is this guy talking about
The Cardinals might catch up to them. They’ve gotten lucky with a lot of their wins with the amount of infield singles and bloop hits they get
@@famguy218 yeah ur a joke buddy, they are a top 10 hitting team in baseball but they get lucky lmao just cope that they are gonna win the division AGAIN
Rays didnt need Civale. They needed to recoup some sort of value from him after trading away Manzardo for him last season. Rare Rays trade loss. They have Shane Baz long time coveted pitching prospect for us that finally seems ready to make an impact. Also Jeffery Spings is back extremely soon so expecting another trade where we deal a pitcher again.
Ray’s view Shane Baz as superior option for remainder of year than Civale would have been. They had to trade him now because Baz is ready for call up. The second they called Baz up they would have had to move a starter to the bullpen. This maximizes surplus value for rays by saving them about 2M for rest of year by not paying civale and by trading for a prospect that won’t have to take a 40 man roster spot with some upside. Rays will most likely be dealing efflin by trade deadline because he’s due 18M next year(same type of contract glasnow had when we traded him where last year of contact salary money was backloaded heavily of deal). Jeffrey springs will probably be called up simultaneously with efflin trade. If the Rays get hot next few weeks they might hold off on trading efflin until offseason.
I'm sorry but who won the last trade the Brewers had with Tampa Bay? Tampa = American League Brewers..
Definitely the Brewers won the Adames trade.
The brewers should go in on bell
Who did the brewers give up ?
