@@evildeku7346 though we can agree discontinuity is a thing wb do for dc(i meant a lack of a good cinematic universe) we can also take that almost every director had a unique vision and theme for the bat and the joker actors. Heath ledgar's version was more of the guy with the plan and the joke while Phoenix's version was just beginning and had a very dark and sad origin(the joker was confusing at moments the first time i watched it, but then i liked the movie for its brilliant cinematography)
Nevertheless both of em getting the oscar for portraying different takes on the same character shows how much depth joker as a fictional character have, and that he isnt some overrated goofy shit

I like how the older versions are just exaggerated versions of the comics, while the newer ones tried to be more of something you might see in real life

Spider-Man starring Nicholas Hammond premiered on CBS on September 14, 1977 before becoming a weekly series called The Amazing Spider-Man on April 5, 1978 which ran for two seasons and 13 episodes.
Spider-Man (1977) and two films made from spliced together episodes, Spider-Man Strikes Back (1978) and Spider-Man: The Dragon's Challenge (1981) were shown theatrically overseas and the rest of the episodes were often seen in syndication and released as two hour movies on home video.
Supaidaman (Japapese Spider-Man) aired on Tokyo Channel 12 (TV Tokyo) on May 17, 1978 until March 14, 1979 for a total of 41 episodes and one theatrical release on July 22, 1978.

Dolph Lundgren's Punisher is one of the best Pre-MCU Marvel films ever.
If you've never seen it before, I can't recommend it enough.
So CAP had the best glow up. Nick Fury turned black. And Hulk turned sofisticated. Harvey Dent went black to white.

@@itzsparxfx7775 Nah, Iron Man got downgraded. The first suits in the original Iron Man were the best. Alot of times they were mostly CGI, but they still looked really good and realistic and believable. But it just got worse overtime. It started looking more like a cartoon than a real suit.

Much as how I prefer keeping the original look and race of characters, Jason's Aquaman just feels right compared to the usual plain blonde Aquamans that we had.
That's not even the old Aquaman from smallville it's the Oliver Queen(green arrow) cast repeated.

Well, there were plans to have an "Incredible Hulk" spin-off, which would have been She-Hulk, done to the same tone as the Bill Bixby/Lou Ferrigno series, and both Bixby and Ferrigno were to star in the pilot TV movie.
However, Bill Bixby got sick (which ended up being his Stage 4 prostate cancer) and a bunch of other things all had it that that version of "The She-Hulk" never got made.
Ghost Rider feels like that meme where you upgrade but now you want to go back.

The first Captain America was played by Dick Purcell in 1944. He died on April 10, 1944 at the age of 38. They said he was doing his own stunt in the movie and it was too much.

The first Lex Luthor was played by Lyle Talbot in 1950. He was in the second Superman movie, "Atom Man vs. Superman" (1950).
The Captain America shown is from the first old movie. In the sequel, they honestly use a pretty close look to the normal costume.
Also, there was an old B/W serial with Captain America, but it wasn't Steve Rogers, and he used a gun, so the pic shown fits for the first Steve Rogers, but there was an earler one for Captain America in general.

I don't know but I kinda like the older designs better for most. I miss the over the top designs and all the accessories they use to have. For example the Riddler's new design is sooooo boring. I get that it's more "realistic" but does that mean they also lose personality in their designs.

For Black Window, her first appareation is on a cancelled daredevil show from the 70s and so does daredevil .iron-man was on a 78s tv show and the first appearance of cap was on an obscur and now lost media short that was occurying between the 1960 slightly animated marvel cartoon

1978, and no. The Japanese Spider-Man from the same year is why Power Rangers exists, not the American one. He had a robot. That was popular, so Battle Fever J had one too. Super Sentai owes it's longevity to that. Without Spidey, there's no Zyuranger - the show MMPR was based on.

Lex Luthor Gene Hackman paired either Jon Cryer or Michael Rosenbaum Luthor. Joker Ceasar Romero paired Health Ledger Joker. Classic Flash John Wesley Shipp paired Grant Gustin Flash. For Martian Manhunter would have gone with David Harewood version from Supergirl. For Classic Batman, would have gone with Adam West version. Superman Classic would have chosen Christopher Reeve. Classic Aquaman should have been Alan Ritchson. Iron Man was just the evolution of RDJ's Tony Stark. Classic Wonder Woman should have been Lynda Carter.

There was a semi- campy version of the Justice League tv movie where David Ogden Stiers played the Martian Manhunter 1980s i think. They also in the movie had Green Lantern but for some reason the costume dept. made his suit blue. Also a very campy versions of the Flash ,the Atom, and Fire and Ice.

That’s not a photo of him from smallville. Before playing green arrow on smallville Justin Hartley starred in a pilot for an aquaman series that never got picked up for a full season.
