@WrestleVisionary why u kissing up to Chris bruh?
I always liked Randy. He was a great fighter, and heâs a very likable person. It is a shame, that he doesnât have a place in the ufc.
Randy is still fighting for the fighters that fight for themselves. That's ironic but he is a stand up guy.
Lies again? UFC WWE IBF USD SGD
The UFC uses fighters and spits them out. They deserve to be well compensated for all the money they make the UFC.
When you see UFC fighters crying over 50k bonuses saying it is life changing money, something is very wrong with the fighter pay situation.
Spot on
No it's not spot on!!! 50 k is a year salary for a firefighter or cop or construction guy...... They are already getting a check then getting that as a bonus is kinda life changing....
@@dagodigs you are comparing apples to oranges. consider how many cops there are vs how many UFC fighters. many more people qualify to become cops than UFC fighters. It is an elite group, 99.9% of the population don't and can't do it. AND since the UFC makes so much profit, it only stands to reason UFC fighters share in a greater portion of that profit.
they donât have to fight - free to do what they want - jon jones has re-signed with the ufc many times - didnât have to. every other mma organization has went out of business.
who says itâs life changing money besides you? i never heard anyone say that. iâve seen fighters cry when they get the bonus.
Randy and Tito was the first guys to fight for fighter pay
Except Tito wasnât just fighting for fighters pay he was also scared of Chuck đ
Tito was too busy fighting Grammar and logic!
Thatâs the narrative that Dana White sold you and you bought. If you are facing the toughest fight of your career, donât you want to get paid for it?
Itâs called getting hit in the head for a living.

This aged like fine wine after seeing Ngannou's decision to leave the UFC.
Meanwhile Dana pisses away a cool million within 1 hr at a casino
Lots of fighters saying they don't get paid enough............only 1 person from ufc management saying the opposite.
Annual revenue for UFC is about 1.4 billion. Arena rentals are roughly 650,000 per day without specific event staffing, media staffing, referees, etc and they need an arena for 2.5 days minimum. In order to sell PPVs, you have to pay a broadcasting company. The costs between networks, aps etc, puts the broadcast at above 1m. The card has to be promoted, so you pay for commercial time as well as broadcast and production . This generally costs between 3m and 10m, depending on the card. The UFC consists of more than Dana and his partners, so all of the rest of the staff has to be paid to make a card happen. The fighters get their flights, rooms and meals (I they want them), all comped. The doctors and other medical staff (of which, there are a lot of), all get paid. The fighting commissions get paid. And the list goes on, and on, and on (aps, apparel, equipment like cages, technology like cameras, sound and lights, sports news, UFC live events, commentators...)
So, out of 1.4billion, you can, very, VERY conservatively estimate that 900,000,000 would be left for the fighters.
There are currently about 580 fighters on the UFC roster. If they all got an equal cut and the UFC didn't have to pay for bonuses, they would all get about 1.5m. That's a lot.
But what about the fighters who only fight once or twice a year? Should the early prelim fighter who no one knows, make the same amount as Sean O'Malley or Conor McGregor ? What about the fact that the UFC pays for any injuries/medical bills that are incurred during the fight and medical staff/nutritionists, leading up to the fight ? What about the fighters who meet multiple presser obligations before a PPV, while others sit at home or train? What about the cost of flying someone from New Zealand compared to the fighter who lives 20 miles from the arena?
Until someone actually boils down the numbers, as fans, we really don't have the right to complain about fighter pay. It's one thing to support your favorite fighters, but it's ignorant to claim greed on the part of the UFC.
@@aamantium1 lmao that's the longest reply ever.... I feel so flattered you'd waste that much time spewing gobbly gook to not prove anything.... Thanks buddy!
Randy is the man
The Ali Expansion Act needs to be Legislated into MMA.
Good interview.
Was Couture one of the first to ask about this stuff contractually?
100%
Actually it was Tito first then Randy
Thanks for the heads up y'all. I'm glad someone spoke up. Even happier it was one of the older ones like Tito and Randy.
Nah it was Tito. Its funny how Dana hates all the guys that wanted better fighters pay.
The Shamrockâs were actually the first. With the exception of the fighters like Canelo or Mayweather, UFC
pays their fighters better than boxing does. Few if any undercard fighter in boxing is making high six figures for an undercard bout.
Dana is puppet master now UFC is losing to Jake Paulđ€Ł
Dana white is paying fighters peanuts lol
Randy is the real Captain America
Most of us know Randy Couture is a very decent man. It's easy to see who's right.
Him and titto two dumbbells, yeah that worked out for ye đ
Dana doesnât understand fighting/fighters their struggles and what they are left with after expenses. Dana needs to wake up.
Team Randy
Yep, Randy, Been watching UFC since back at its start....and I know, like you know, what happened
Itâs too bad cuz I would love to see a âlegendsâ night with UFC. Honoring those who helped build the UFC. Egos would prob never let that happen.
Maybe the UFC can pay fighters, partially in stock options.
they are not even employees of the UFC. They are "independent contractors" with almost no rights. Way worse than traditional boxing.
They should all strike. Force Dana to up their pay.
What a shame Randy was the company for so many years . Dana is a clown đ€Ą
If you bail on your contract and tell him that you arenât signing with bellator, and then do just that what do you expect? đđđ at least have the balls to say youâre leaving and signing with someone else.
You are the only person in multiple comment sections who knows the truth. Randy has been compensated very well through his career
Dana white is the problem its a business just like box I ng
UFC is full of budlight and panties now
