Mine burst on 10/29/18 and I almost died. They had to remove about 20 percent of my small intestine and 6 inches of my colon. Never thought I could get a laugh from that experience.

@@TCt83067695 Maybe there are signs and symptoms beforehand that get attributable to other maladies. We took my son to ER one Saturday and he was diagnosed with gastritis. Took him back the next day and was diagnosed with appendicitis and they did surgery. What was scary is at first, I thought the gastritis medicine needed a chance to work so I didn't take him in. I was gone later, and my husband took him in.

This is so weird to hear. I live in Russia where the healthcare is (even though sometimes kinda shitty) free. And removal of the appendix is like the easiest surgery, WTF's with the price Oo
@Dark red Bandit believe me, Russian doctors are qualified as well. They aren't any worse than American doctors. It's not about doctors being bad, its about system itself being weird. I mean, I wish more of our taxes went to pay doctors' salary, not to fund some useless stuff (like shitty movies or sellout politics). It sucks that we have shitty hospitals because of that. American prices, however, are ridiculous. I'd say middle ground would've been perfect: healthcare is free, but a big part of our taxes comes to doctors (I think Canada succeeds there). Because in order to not die in America, you just fall into debt - that's just wrong.
@Dark red Bandit I didn't push anything in the beginning. I just stated, that where I live the healthcare is free, so it was weird hearing about expensive appendix removal. That's it.
It was later when you wrote your comment that I felt, that I needed to tell that our "free healthcare doctors" aren't worse than American.
So the insurance industry is what drives up the cost of medical procedures. Each insurance company pays a negotiated price with the hospital which is significantly less than the "sticker" price. People without insurance often get charged the full price that the insurance companies negotiated down based off. Except people without insurance often can't negotiate the price. You get the jist and yes it's non sense but America LOVES insurance; life, casualty, property, car, health, disability etc. You name it we got it! Even insurance companies have insurance.

First, a grown woman should not need anyone to validate her body. If she does, then she is either grossly immature or has some serious issues.
Second, this man is BSing. The only complaint he voiced about dating a model was she was too skinny. If he already knows he likes curvy women, then why did he go on a date with the model in the first place? Could he not see that she is skinny by simply looking at her?

I had the exact same experience. Mine was only $20k though so I only halfway swallowed my tongue. But, I hate that damn mailbox. Nothing but bad news in there. I now have multiple chronic illnesses and no insurance so, I get to have that experience at least once a week.
