Just saw Julian at The Stress Factory in New Brunswick, NJ last night! He's a great comedian!
Julian is so underrated. I first saw him in 2011 on Just for laughs Funny as Hell. He's much funnier than some of the current trending comedians, (Looking at you Kevin Hart) Julian deserves a Netflix special

not only that, it's REALLY common for folks from southern NJ to say they're from philly. all the towns down there are too small that even other folks from NJ don't know about them. philly is recognizable and it's close. it's not any deeper than that. we have NJ pride.
I live in the city of Seattle. But many, many people live in the surrounding suburbs; when they're talking to people from out of state, they nearly always say they live in Seattle. It's just easier than saying you live in, say, Snohomish.
