Great video!!! I use a Plixir Elite BDC 19V/4A on my Nucleus+ revA and it's simply fantastic. I, too, upgraded from a basic Chinese R-Core 19V LPS that was, itself, much better than stock. Obvious improvement on direct attached and network endpoints!

Hi omg ... had a custom Belleson psu with a chinese thin powercord supplying NUC running Rock ..... followed your advice an put a really good braided supply cable on OMG great upgrade more of everything!!! so thank you. Just on another note.......I loaded Roon onto a X300 mini pc running a Ryzen 4750g with windows 10 .... wow more dynamic than the NUC (with rock) bass weight and body and imaging are improved...others on the Roon members forum concur. The Nucleus is good but Ryzen in an X300 .... was a shock its worth a try.

Does Taiko Audio SGM Extreme make a difference to Roonlab sound quality compared to NUC?

The SGM was very digital sounding last we heard it. Albeit was a couple/few years ago

Apparently the Mola Mola’s Tambaqui DAC has an internal switching power supply. Any thoughts on modding this DAC to allow a better external PS? Or have Mola Mola done something to make this unnecessary?

Bruno rolled this power supply special for the Tambaqui. Don't touch it. Not all SMPS are bad.
