De Zerbi is the only manager that'll excite me. I think he's the most possession-based manager after Pep and the fact he could get a lesser team like Brighton to play such dominant football is being underrated massively.

No, the squad is not constructed for a particular style of play. Noni Madueke, Mudryk, Jackson, Disasi, Gallagher are not possession based players.
We can play that style but the players are not that build for it. They won't get De Zerbi because they actually want a "YES MAN"

The board don't want a manager who will challenge them or have any strong footballing opinions. De Zerbi, Kompany and Amorim have too much personality for them. Their plan is so flawed as they want the next Pep who will provide possession based football with unproven youngsters and an unproven manager, both with little to no premier league experience and not competing for the title is a fail? Why do the board think they know more about football than experienced proven managers? It's insanity and arrogant to think you know more about football and the premier league than managers who have proven them themselves here as managers and players in some cases. You cannot win anything by solely buying young unproven players with potential with no-one to learn from in the dressing room, whilst ignoring your head coach.

I don't subscribe to this view that these Chelsea players are improving. They're a one man team. Without Palmer against Arsenal they looked rudderless.
We lost 2-3 at home to them but were the better team for most that match and then threw it away in the last ten minutes with pathetic defending. They drew against Burnley and Sheffield United in the last few months. I don't see any improvement.
