Everything I read and heard is Palmer was rated higher than all of the young talent when he was 16-17.
Bernardo silva cost his team not the fan. He should be able to hold his nerve.
Update: Penalty Palmer did not "haunt Man. City again" 😂
Sterling has been doing more “haunting” to city.
Not really
Such terrible anti united bias. Undermines the Athletic reputation.
He is a thank you for KDB, back to Chelsea. We deserve him
Technically KDB is not your academy player but a player you brought from Genk. KDB then went to Wolfsburg and City brought him from Wolfsburg. As for Palmer he is a City academy player. So the two situations simply don't add up. So is the case with Salah.
He's taking you to ninth place. Deserved indeed.
@@QuentinMajor this joke ends in 6 games bro :D
@@ChigozieMImachukwuOfficial Yeah, when you drop to 10th.
Makes no sense lol
PFA PLAYER OF THE SEASON💙🇯🇲💙
Lol
it’s Rodri and it’s not close.
@@joey7184 Even if City finish trophiless this season?
nah player of the season is ollie. keeping villa in top 4, 1 goal from top scorer and 11 assists.
Some poor analysis here. Pound for pound, Jackson and Gusto have definitely been value for money, and yes, it is agent fees that have inflated the 1bn to 1.2 (you lot ought to know that - it’s literally your job). No talk of injuries either when analysing Chelsea’s season when you dedicated a whole podcast to talking about how Newcastle’s levels have dropped due to their own injury crisis
People love to discredit chelsea. It’s out of fear, they are putting the project down now because they know they will be suffering from it in a couple years
`There's an argument its worked out best for everyone'. LOL. City have sold a player for 40mill that is now worth 80mill and with an ever higher ceiling,.
True, cause in what world would a player with no first team experience be worth 42 Mill.
We almost got scammed but he turned out to be Diamond.
A player that would never have been worth £80m if he'd stayed at City.
@@QuentinMajor True
@@QuentinMajor He would eventually, Foden took ages to get more game time at first. That's just how Pep is.
If the scouts can't clearly see how good Palmer is what's to say their judgment is worth anything. If you can get it that wrong. How are you considered a scout?
Brother said doku 😂
Man C would be on course for 96 points if arsenal were still as bad previous yrs and beat us twice as they would ‘usually do’ .Arsenal took 4 points off them to say City are worse because they may finish on 91pts is strange. They are still the same just another is almost able to match their level.
watch our clips
Awesome penalty article! I usually don’t have a face to put w name on the articles maybe you guys could mention in the pod or of you don’t already put a little thumbnail face pic under articles. Good podcasts but absolute without rival writing in the athletic
Chelsea must beat the tired Man City.
Come on Cole 😂
I don't get the hype with Palmer....yes he has scored goals but Chelsea not doing great in the league tho it's like he won a treble or something.....
Lol... Read what you wrote and If this made sense to you... I don't know.
Gerrard s best year in LiVARpool was like Palmer s? Something like that. But the excuse that wow what if he had better teammates, doesn't exist for Palmer right
Try watching a match mate. Then it will make sense.
If you don't get his hype, then you should never be hyped by any footballer.
Yes - I think “Cold” Palmer will “do” City.😰
As a United fan, I certainly hope so.😊
keep dreaming bud ;)
@@shadowsxd1452 The City players are “tired” (first Rodri, then Haaland and KDB). I can understand that. The poor things😩
Chelsea on the other hand have been playing
“Ring-a-ring-a-rosies” all season.
Got to fear for City if it goes to extra time…
😊
heres an idea for you so called 'journalists' why dont you talk about the blatant conflict of interests between a referee being paid by the owners of UAE to ref games in the UAE, then being allowed to officiate games in england that are owned by the same people from the UAE who pay them?
If City concede a penalty, yes. If not...
LOL when has he ever haunted City
They lost 4 points to Chelsea this season
@@soham844 yeah so?? he scored 1 goal in that 4-4 game which was a pen and that somehow equates to him "haunting" City that's just laughable
No
There is a section of arsenal fans who talk like they have won it with 10 games to go, then when something goes wrong they attack a player while walking out with 20 minutes left, not all arsenal fans.
He haunted them already? With a pen in the last minute? He’s a good player but you can tell he’s English..
Lmao he’s a Chelsea player, the media typically hate Chelsea, so for him to be getting this hype he’s clearly good
@@Shdhd2347 not the English ones they don’t. The headline suggests that he’s put on master classes against city this season by haunting them.. I disagree. He’s a good player though.
@@calumjunior7748what are you smoking pal 🤣 he’s been incredible in both games
@@TheIrishFoley definitely English. I’m not your pal..
@@TheIrishFoley sterling has been haunting Man City this season if anyone from Chelsea has.
Once someone says he despises Man U it's time to stop watching the channel. Ah there is Mark Goldbridge. That will do for me every time. See ya...
He has 1 non penalty GA vs a top 5 team. Unless Chelsea get a load of pens he's not doing anything.
Now there's a real non-sequitor!
Perfectly correct. Most overrated player in Europe without penalties. 😂
Man City, the only side with negative momentum that tipsters still think makes no difference. It does. Chelsea to win.
Only if City give away a penalty.
11 NPG this season
2 v Man U 7th
1 v Sheffield Utd 20th
2 v Luton 18th
1 v Wolves 11th
1 v Burnley 19th
3 v Everton 16th
1 v Newcastle 6th
3 goals v top half teams and people act like he should be stating for england over Saka
You can say the same thing about Haaland as well, who ghosts in all the big games lol
Anybody want to buy a computer?
Its been 20 years without a league title
Its been 3 years of implosion under arteta
Its the hope that kills, when you are so close and yet still so far
We dont want to be nearly men
Ridiculous how different the standards Arsenal and Liverpool are held to. Virtually similar results and yet Liverpool are bottlers but arsenal aren't? Yet arsenal have spent twice as much and have been able to build on last season while Liverpool has had to rebuild the entire midfield and have had way more injuries.
nah he'll ghost. Mark my words
Another 40 minute blabbering
