We're now in an age of blackmail tactics by running to a lawyer and making a claim for a payday instead of going to law enforcement when the presumed crime actually happens. The reason why these accusers don't call police is because they know an investigation would need to be done and the court would be involved. A lot of the accusations would be dis-proven and the paydays would be little to nothing.
