In this video, I escaped the invisible walls around the map and explored what lies outside the boundaries of Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild. Mostly in TotK because it's infinitely easier / more possible to do so in that game

And thank YOU for watching! Did I miss anything interesting?
i understand you need sponsor money, and with your level of content, you DEFINITELY deserve it, but please be more considerate about which sponsors you take.
hello fresh has horrible business practices and underpays their workers while they work in horrible conditions.
please do more research in the future.

@@lunathetrip3241 I've only seen like 2 people say this. What source are you going off for them being a bad company? /genq
There canonically is other areas outside of the Hyrule we can explore in-game as evidenced by Yona who is from another domain, Penn, and wherever Kass has ventured off to. But I wonder if it is considered “Hyrule” but it’s just a different island with a different domain and wherever Penn comes from. Orrr is it called something different. Is Hyrule like a country, a continent? And those characters are from different countries or continents?? Did people flee to these other lands 100 years ago during the great calamity?
Yeah, and there's also holodrum and labrynna from oracle of seasons and ages
I'd wager that those enemies weren't placed out of bounds; it was more that you were still tied to the mountains location, and those enemies just randomly spawn around you if you are in the mountains location.
Not exactly random, but I do think you're right. Enemy spawns locations aren't random, they're specific to map coordinates. But that section of ground is likely considered part of the mountain or maybe even used to be part of it before being moved.
@@OtakuUnitedStudio Do you mean that random enemies will only spawn at a specifc yard of ground?
Get your vid is a literal question but man I wish totk took place outside hyrule. We don't get to see it enough and won't for ages now. A sequel on the Switch was the perfect time for it.
I almost left the question mark off the title because by the end it's more of a statement, but yeah I agree, it would have been cool if at least part of the game had taken place somewhere else to kind of get that original feeling of exploration and new-ness that botw had. They did the best they could by adding caves and the depths, but it still was missing something in discovery during gameplay for me
@@TheZeldaEnthusiast well said.
Almost made it to clocktown
Looks maybe a bit like Termina
Love this liminal space/empty areas
liminal spaces so fire for real
9:01, its probably not A or B. I dont think they wanted to use this place early in development and to think that Nintendo themselves wanted to award people for cheating in a gameis also pretty random lol. I think the most logic answer is that Nintendo made these entities to spawn randomly, which you can actually see inside of the boundaries as well. Its kinda hard to make put in like specific bird or skeleton spawners, much easier is to make a code that spawns them when the temperature or the time is this or that.
Ah, I didn't think about randomly generating enemies and wildlife spawning outside the boundaries. That's a solid answer tbh. I knew chus, stalkoblins, keese, and birds were used like that, but thought mini taluses were all static. Thanks for the info!
@@TheZeldaEnthusiast I didn't notice mini taluses lol, that's kinda weird tbh.

Hah use it whenever you want! Entertained me as I wrote it so glad you like it too
I think a out of bounds showcasing video would be cool
Shesez has made two awesome out of bounds vids on TOTK so far, as well as ones for BOTW and lots of other games. You should check those out!
@@plantnamedjuniper they said if she want an out of bounds showcase video to tell them in the comments
I played totk first and then botw. I did notice a few of the invisible winds in totk, but in botw I reached the limits of this unknown world twice, when I was exploring the gerudo and it said I can’t go any further, and the spikes by the akkala labyrinth 😅
Imagine you found a korok out there 😂
Would be really cool if you could catch a dragon leaving/entering the depths from that between later. I wonder if the tunnel thing would glow?
9:06 third option: maybe the chuchus, stal enemies and keese just spawn near link if he's standing on solid ground.
The pebblits definitely don't though...
I've explored under the depths and under the surface a few times. Some interesting things can be found, I'd recommend making a vid on it
Tears of the boundaries
10:36 I'd imagine that whole massive landmass is hyrule. Since isnt hyrule meant to be more of a continent size? Or at least more than just a small country
nice video but I've gotta ask why do you have so many incomplete shrines on the map:?
Hah i like to unlock them while playing and use them as warp points, and then eventually go around and knock a bunch out in one sitting
Tears of The Players
i love the video, but please avoid taking sponsorships from Hello Fresh in the future! it's a terrible company, they underpay they workers and force them to work in awful conditions
There is no such thing as an ethical megacorporation. Let the man pay his bills.
@@UnknownPikmin Uh yeah, there are. Man is allowed to get money, but maybe next time from an actual good company
I just stop watching the video whenever I see them selling out so bad to these bad companies
