Thank you for watching! Did I miss anything cool? What would you like to see compared next?
Hey, thanks so much for your speed running tutorial, I’ve beeping using them so much
hi

In the sky now innit

Yeah bruv, Ah noticed tha’ ‘o
Actually it's on top of a pillar. 🤓

Naur it’s only got it’s bum lifted there right?
Regarding 8:13 with the piles of flint and arrows, it's because crows gather on that island and crows like shiny things :) It seems they've found some items to hoard!
I absolutely prefer TotK, but I do miss a few things from BotW.
The guardians, the crusty monks, golden enemies, master mode, floating enemy bases, and of course:
*the hyrule castle theme*
And off course: Kass
@@Felipera_oh yeah kass! I thought they were saving him for the DLC…. Well…
When I told my fiancee about the Hinox lowering lift and that it wasn't in BOTW, she just headcanoned that since it had been 100 years, it simply just got covered up with dust, dirt and rocks, and then in TOTK, it got unblocked while they were fixing up the area, only for it to be blocked again by the upheaval
I'm sure someone beat me to this, but the Sheikah tech you can see in the hidden passage in the library is the outer wall to the observatory. You fight Calamity Ganon in the observatory in BotW.
29:22 that room is still there in Tears on B3. There's an opening above in the castle gardens, on the path facing south directly underneath Zelda's tower. There is a Like Like and some enemies in that area in ToTk and heading down in the side of the rock wall facing west is a door which leads to that room. In BOTW it follows back into the lockup, but the path between the two was destroyed in Tears. In Tears, it's a required battle location when you chase puppet Zelda. Also, the armory in the east passage is also gone, likely because it was durectly under what is now the chasm.
Thanks! I'll check it out this week and let you know if i find it too.
I was searching for that room cause I remembered it was there in botw and couldn’t find it I assumed it was removed/covered
I totally found the room using your directions and went to gift you a month-long membership, but now I realize gifting memberships is only random, I can't select specific users, and it only works during live streams and premieres, not for comments on regular uploads. Assuming yt eventually expands these options, I will someday make good on my offer/promise. Sorry I can't do it asap, as I intended. Still, thanks for helping me find that room!
@@TheTonyExpress No problem man! You're great content is enough!
Before we got the name tears of the Kingdom me and my friends called it "The legend of Zelda Breath of The Wild 2 the sequel to the legend of Zelda Breath of the wild".
on the pillar island are crow nests, crows usually collect shiny stuff, which explains the flint and the arrows
32:14
The sheikah tech is likely the astral observatory, given the room’s placement
I wish Nintendo could allow us to explore more of Hyrule in the distant past with Zelda as a playable character. Let alone the events of the Imprisoning War, Ganondorf''s background, some info on the Ancient Sages, the Zora and Rito populations in the Sky Islands, Twinrova, and provided more screentime for Rauru, Sonia, and Mineru. It has been a lost opportunity since TOTK's story has been divided into two.
A lot of people hoped Zelda would be playable after the first cinematic trailer. Alas 😢
The mystery is part of what makes it all so compelling.
I can’t even read “Imprisoning War” without wanting to jump out a window after hearing that repeated story 20 million times

8:35 it…never occurred to me that I always run into the struggling koroks with the backpack while exploring but never run into the friend…
36:25 King Rhoam is no mini-boss. That lad is an absolute unit and IS the boss of Hyrule Castle at the time.
i can already tell this is gonna be a good one. i love these hyrule comparason vidoes. i do really want to see rito village compared tho. i will be awaiting the next video!
coming soon :)
i will be waiting patiently!
3:46 I like the tree not being there. It rewards you for remember the map so you know it's an evermean.
The reason some gloom spawns don’t work is that there is only a chance for them to be active and attack when you get there.
interesting. maybe that's how i've missed a couple in other episodes of this series. thanks!
Have been having a bad day and this is the exact type of video I wanted to see on my homepage. Thanks so much, I love your content!
That one very tall room that was in Botw is in Totk on floor B3. If you go to Zelda’s study and stand on the bridge connecting the study to the rest of the castle (make sure you are facing the castle) you will fall onto a path along with part of the bridge. If you look to the right you will see a covered area with multiple different types of like-likes. If this is what you see then paraglide off of the cliff to the left of Zelda’s study, don’t jump straight down though. If you keep paragliding down the side of the castle then you should see a somewhat hidden entrance on the cliff side. If you enter through there then you should be in that room. Another way to find it is through a main quest you unlock from purah after you complete the four regional phenomenon. This is the puppet ganon/zelda quest.
Thanks! I'll go check this out sometime this week and keep ya posted!
@@TheTonyExpress Your welcome :)

@@TheTonyExpress It’s fine, I didn’t really do it for the membership, I just wanted to help. Thank you tho
21:30 i believe youre supposed to use stasis, and hit the cart. This will fling it across the track without it falling off. Awesome video btw :)
You can also put a bomb in the round part to make it move
ahahaha, yes! that's right. i remember now. tysm!
This is definitely gonna be a special episode of the series. Definitely one I’ve been excited/anticipating.
11:23 I'm not sure if anybody has told you this yet but I think in areas where there are multiple gloom spawns clustered together (Crenel Hills, Seres Scablands, etc.) only one spawns out of the cluster and it seems to be random. I was near the Lanayru Promenade gate where there should have been three gloom spawns, but I could only spawn the south one.
“There was also a Gloom Spawn spot that I couldn’t get to spawn”
You actually WANT one of those horrific things to show up?!
32:05 The ancient technology is likely the outer edge of the astral observatory in which calamity ganon is fought in botw. The location lines up about perfectly
Yet all the other Sheikah technology just went away, minus a sole Guardian. Laziness on Nintendo's part. No explanation given, nothing really rebuilt and all the old stuff just went poof.
Excellent video!
I’ve been looking forward to this.
It was the first place I went after leaving the great sky island, I was rather disappointed when nothing was there
been waiting for this one forever
U gained a new sub 😊
32:06 This is the exterior wall of the Calamity Ganon boss arena from BOTW
32:13 that could possibly be the wall of the chamber you fight ganon in.
I was just wandering botw hyrule castle and wondering when this video would happen
It has also inspired an idea,
What if you could fight the calamity’s spectral form whilst riding the master cycle around hyrule castle, with all the malice removed and guardians inactive, as if ganon has summoned all the malice in the castle to confront you in his spectral form. You would have some device that you would point (aim like a bow) at the calamity as it circles the castle that would guide the divine beasts to fire at it, this being the way you attack it.
A middle phase between the spider and dark beast for those who completed the champions ballad.
This would be way better then the dark beast we fought😂
Please consider using the Mastercycle more! It's something TOTK doesn't have and its so freaking cool!
Love your videos good sir!
You shouldve put some kind of on screen indicator to show exactly what game you are showing but still 11/10 video imo
A matched korok finally!!! lets gooooooo
MVP of your videos are the fairies lmao
Underrated dude
The "double gloom hands" are the same one that spawns in two possible spots
This cures insomnia easy to fall asleep to
4:50 cue the fanfare!!
29:18 that entrance way is still in tears if the kingdom, you have to go outside to reach it, it’s sort of tucked away under a pathway with enemies on it, right under Zelda’s study
That room with the stone talus and updraft still exists, the entrance is just in a weird spot, and it's full of dirt and a white moblin
Where? I can’t find it
Where?
You can get a similar effect to the ominous sky in zeldas room in totk when just in range of gloom hands. I did it earlier today, thought i broke something 😂
At 26:18 there is a chest that was behind the updraft once you defeat the rare stone talus.
Yk before I just thought the sky turning golden in tears of the kingdom was just the developers doing a cool effect for the sake of aesthetics but I think it’s lore reason is that your approaching Zelda’s field of sealing power. The sky and her powers are the same color so that could be why in my mind
Let’s go it’s here
Please do Hebra/ Tabantha, please do Hebra/Tabantha, I LOVE THE RITOS SO MUCH, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
I really wish I could explore an unruliness version of the castle.
can you only fight one gloom hands per blood moon? or is it really just up to chance if the gloom hands decide to pester lincoln
EXACT KOROK FOUND!!!!!!!! THIS IS HUGE! LEZ GOOO!!!
edit: holy moly theres TWO!!!!
Isn't there a Korok above Zelda's Study in both games, similar to the castle central spire?
4:50
He lost his stick :(
11:25 Everytime you come here, one of the two spots is chosen randomly for the gloom spawn to appear in.
7:04 it wouldnt make sense to have chasms in the place of the pillars, because the chasms only showd up at the beginning of totk
I dont know how much I’ve seen of hyrule castle in my 100% play through but I’m sure I haven’t seen 80% of it😂
8:05 The crows seem to be using the arrows & flint to make nests, they probably scavenged them from the nearby jail ruins?
I'M NEVER THIS EARLY, LETS GOOO
I think a really interesting video would be seeing how much of breath of the wild is "canon" in a 100 percent run. Like, I know the story works with any percent completion, but how much is referenced? Or with the stone taluses, are the ones that aren't there anymore dead while the battle talus's are the ones left behind?
holy smokes
Despite adding in new puzzle solving, he Sheikah Shrines in Breath of the Wild is way better than the Zonai shrines.
Can you do hyrule ridge region?
21:30 Remote bomb in the cart.
I’m quite early it seems
I can’t believe people are saying that totk has the same map as botw, I mean just look at this
imagine saying that, it has a whole upside down world and many changed things on the overworld aswell, its like saying that ocarina of time and windwakers maps are the same tbh
@@goofer-content Fr
Seeing these side by sides kinda brews a frustration in me. I wish Nintendo had been a little more continuity-conscious. Where did all of the Guardian corpses go? The ones that were already rusted over in Breath of the Wild should still be there. I also think it would have been cool if treasures appeared or disappeared based on save data. Like, if you already got a chest in the first game, have it be gone in the second. The shrines, too. Why would the original shrines no longer exist? I have always needed a little more visual convincing when playing Tears of the Kingdom. Too much reference was removed
All that being said, these tours you make are absolutely cozy to kick back to, so thank you for your efforts
28 minutes :D
I would love to see the pristine castle interior of Age of Calamity compared here.
The sky’s the limit
4:54 but the totk one isnt holding a stick
I was gonna mention that, but decided to let a victory be a victory lol
@@TheTonyExpress fair enough lol
Ngl I thought Hyrule castle was going to be the finale
Why wasn't the castle repaired between the events of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom?
6ish years would be nowhere near enough time to gather and place the required resources with their current tech.
To restore a gigantic fortress? That would take about 30 years!
goron cityyy plz
Sss 29:38
8:41 ni--
Nice early
Second (lol)

Man, it's cool to see this changes, but at the same tim, it just makes me realize how lazy TOTK is, most of this changes are so soulless, I feel like TOTK should have had a new map, and then unlock the BOTW map at the end of the game.
The gameplay between botw and totk is a world of innovation and inprovements, the sky islands are fun, but the surface is too much like botw for me
@@jaemynbaer4504 Yeah, I like the mechanics in TOTK, but that's kinda it, that's the only thing the game has to offer, the rest of it it's just the same game you already played.
And I would argue some of the mechanics are not even better than BOTW, the sages are an exemplo
Ur the only one who thinks that
Wait till this guy hears about the depths
