we did a complete engine overhaul and replaced all the parts that were necessary.

Hello! Great job! Is that an 272hp based M57? Which gearbox Did you mount on?

That's right.
It's the 272HP version.
Gearbox I'm using is the zd30 from a 3.0 Y61/GU in combination with 3.0 drive shafts and 3.0 axles.

@@Nmr_fabrication that’s interesting! I’m doing the same montage… What type of clutch Did you take? And the flywheel? Someone Said to me to take a dual mass flywheel to have a security between engine and gearbox…

I'm using the twin disk clutch from pmc motorsports with a flywheel at one piece. The dual mass flywheel is designed for smooth running at idle and some more comfi. but a 6 cil is running smooth already in my opinion. Just another part that can failure..

@@Nmr_fabrication yes you’re right, i’m also thinking a 6cyl is running smoother. Ok I see the kit it is the 215mm one.
