I have a 1987 e23 that I picked up 2 years ago in the same condition except for the original wheels. Even the matching spare that probably is the original tire! Incredible car, lots of torque.

My late dad got a new 735i back in 1981. Awesome behemoth. Whenever dear dad asked then 17-year old me to move the car into the garage . . . took the opportunity to cruise the neighborhood !

Beautiful car, except for those awful wheels. That said and done, this was when BMWs, as I am sure has oftentimes been repeated, looked like BMWs. A neighbor of mine had a 7 series from this era, another across the street had a 318i, if memory serves me correctly. But I was always transfixed by the flagship e23 whenever one went by.
