You don't need an illuminated shift bezel because your selected gear is displayed along the bottom of the instrument cluster.

Wow beautiful wood trim. May I ask, did you have the trim restored?

I might be getting one of these cars for my first car in a day or two, although mine would be champagne color.

I won't be getting it anymore, it just wouldn't work for my situation.

Don Lass that's bs...the parts that the dealers sell are OEM and the parts online may not always be but yeah their prices are ridiculous.

have you ever had an issue getting air from the vents? I'm only getting air from the dash area?

The HVAC systems in these cars use numerous vacuum servos to actuate different flaps and such. If there is no vacuum or a big leak, the default "in-rest" state of the system is to blow on the windshield. This is so that you can defrost and demist the windshield in case the vacuum control system fails.
You need to go through the vacuum system on your car, start with the easiest thing! Is the vacuum pump working? Are there vacuum leaks somewhere under the hood?
If those things check out, congratulations! It's time do dive in under the dash to check all the actuators and the hoses. I don't remember if the actuator servos are available new from BMW anymore, or if they're rebuildable.

This is not BWM, this is shit for American driver hehe. Everything is others as in europe BMW, even engine has less power than Europe model... even M models made for USA have not M engine hehe. also OBD is much other and normal BMW computer failed to connect with car from America.
