  • Here we show you how to tell if you need fresh crank seals. With the older bikes, its extremely common to have failed seals. Rubber only lasts so long. The older first gen zuma is almost always in need of seals. Just make sure you don't nick your crank, and/or the case itself. this is a very easy task!
we stock honda, piaggio and yamaha oil seals for most 2 stroke scooters at
    www.scooterswapshop.com
If you need oil seals for other bikes, we have them in stock at
    www.scooterpartshop.com
    thanks everyone!

Excellent tutorial guys! The info is much appreciated. I am looking to order a crankshaft, seals, and bearing kit for a 96-97 Piaggio Typhoon 50. Also a new clutch and bell. I see that there are variances from pre 98 engines to post 98 (hi-per 2) when it comes to variator parts. Im curious if i can use the readily available Polini crank you have for sale and if it will fit the older (TECH1M) stamped case on my 96-97 Typhoon and will my variator fit and shim up the same. I only ask because i hear that the variators are different and i wasnt sure if it was the crank taper profile (shaft size actually) that created a need for a different variator. Thank you much and ill be ordering from you guys.

I have a GTX/Jog....cant start it and only 40PSI...rings, cylinder, gaskets, carb boots etc all ok....the only thing I haven't checked are the oil seals....is it possible to lose that much compression from bad seals? Would the stator side seal be more likely to be causing low compression? Thanks

Hi. I need to change the thing in my Aerox. I failed twice.. It seems to be easy, (i use the secret trick) but i cant do it by first time and then the seal is fucked up. Can i use Polini Grease? Because with thin 2t oil it doesnt go well.

Not sure whether you guys are still responding to comments, but what's the depth that your seal installation tool pushes to? Can you provide dimensions for that seal driver tool? I can't find the tool on your website now, nor can I find any information on what that measurement is. I'm trying to do a variator-side seal on a 2005 Yamaha Zuma 50.

Woah I didn't know the seals on it could take a c-clip 0_0
That's all the excuse needed to add in a small turbo. The clips should help it hold in another 5psi. Now, will a 90/100cc 2 stroke be enough to drive a Vz21? That's the question.
