1992 Hamper Cycle Race in Phoenix Park, Dublin

The annual Eagle CRC Hamper Race in the Phoenix Park. Organised by Joe (JJ) McCormack and the Eagle CRC, Paddy Sullivan is 2nd in command and the race Commissaire is Tony Madden.
The race was won by Rory Walsh from the MAD MTB club
Cover picture shows two of cycling's prominent figures in those years, on left the legendary John JJ McCormack (Top cyclist in the 60's, Organiser and member of the Eagle RC) and on the right, Paddy Sullivan, (also a member of the Eagle CRC) who done trogon work for cycling over the years. Both men have sadly passed away - RIP.
I found the old video tape of the race and converted it for the web so people that are interested, may like to see one of the long running events from the past as not much video footage is available.
