Hi Travel BF, Great video of Alicante thanks.. please keep them coming. Hello from Orlando,Florida
Thank you! We'll keep the videos coming!
Really good video!
Thank you very much! We're glad you enjoyed it!
merci pour cette visite
Vous êtes les bienvenus! merci d'avoir regardé et commenté!
I didn’t even know that guadelest castle existed until I saw this video and Gabriel Travelers version. Stunning geography there.. honestly I wished you guys still lived in Spain..
We LOVED coming back to Spain and being there, even if just for a visit. Maybe we'll be able to get back to living there one day. Let us know if you ever find an 'enchufe' at a company for us😂
Hey guys! We chatted a few months ago. I'm from California and have family from Wisconsin. I've lived in Spain for about 6 years and have never been to Alicante! I need to visit! Congrats to you both on being pregnant! That will be one lucky kid to have two cool parents who love to travel. :)
Aww! Thank you so much! Where are you living in Spain, and how have you been there for 6 years? We'd love to get back to living there one day! Thank you again for watching and for the kind words!
@@MYTravelBF I hope to get back to Spain! I've lived in Madrid on and off for about 5 years, and one year in Palma de Mallorca. Maybe I'll see you in Spain one day! And you're very welcome!
Also renting a car in Spain is just next level.. I might have found a new addiction :D
If you can, we recommend renting a car to reach some of the smaller villages that aren't as well connected by public transit, especially if you're just visiting for a short time as some of those bus rides can take a looooong time. BlaBlaCar is also a good option for car sharing!
Good video. Altea is gorgeous but you need to go up toward the church. It's not really a beach destination (having said that my aunt in law has one of the beachside penthouses and it's great drinking on her balcony watching the world go by).
The waterfalls are worth visiting but ignore the restaurants and it does get stupidly busy during high season.
Thanks for the info! We ended up in Altea because it was on the way. It was beautiful, but we'll have to get to the church next time!
How did you handle this summer heat ???? Mann I almost lost it in physically and mentally with that extreme heat ! Alicante is my 2nd home .
Luckily, the heat wasn't too bad when we were there. It was quite a bit hotter than Germany though, but we missed the extreme heatwave.
Try altea, calpe , and much much more :-)
We did stop briefly in Altea, and it was really nice! We plan on going back, so we'll have to check out those other places too!
@@MYTravelBF Almoradi, Torrevieja, Guardarmar, Santa pola .. if you need a place to rent let m me ..
@@Fortuna34617 will do! Thank you!
Alicante is the best city in Spain, beats Barcelona, Madrid, Malaga by a long shot Alicante is cheaper, safer, even more beautiful and better weather all year round
It depends on where are you at in life. And whats gonna be your lifestyle
If you come in spain only for the beach and swimming. You dont care about other stuff much. Then allicante is better. Cause its cheaper and also the beach is better. With better climate
If you like impressive diverse touristic monuments. Have to go to university. Gonna travel a few times per year. Need a high pay job. Love international events. While having the beach near by. Then Barcelona is better but of course more expensive and can be quite cold on winter
Basicaly if you need a big international city barcelona is the choice. If you want just a city to enjoy the beach. Other things are not that important. Then allicante is better choice
Also barcelona has a more diverse kind of residents. People from all 5 corners of the globe. From all kind of different motives
While allicante. Its like you have the same 4 peoples:
-local spaniards
- european & maghreb tourist on a road trip or low cost vacation
- rich retired people from nothern europe, americas, maghreb and middle east
- son/daughter of rich parents who bought a villa there 😂
Of course you can find other type of people. But its really the 4 main popular kind of people you find in alicante
You will almost never find a australian on work vacation visa in allicante or a international student from canada. A japaneese on work visa. Those kind of things you find it in barcelona 😂
There are so many amazing cities in Spain that it would be difficult to pick just one! But we did love Alicante!
Did you hear any Valencian spoken or mostly Spanish?
We heard minimal Valencian being spoken. We speak Spanish, ad everyone communicated with us in Spanish. Thanks for watching!
Why does everyone not want to be a tourist? Like, are you from there? Do you not work hard for a vacation? ..Exactly you want to travel and see new things... If its touristy.. perfecty you are a tourist enjoy the disposable income and relax lol
Because people think it's cool to be snobby about tourists... Most of these places are amazing because of the wealth created by tourists.
Enemies don't attack the castle...they start to build apartments to sell in the beach
😂😂😂
Tourist trap??? I'm not even gonna watch the video. Just report it.
😂😂😂 There are so many tourist spots on that coast though!
Can you ski there?whats the snow like? Is it white?
Alicante doesn't get snow, even in the mountains, so there isn't skiing here. There is skiing in plenty of other areas of Spain, like Granada, near Madrid, or in the Pyrenees.
