Hands down, the best public transport system is ours here in Vienna: 365€ for a whole year for using every public transport there is: the tube, municipal rail, the busses, the tram, everything. And if you don't want to pay for a whole year there are monthly, weekly and single use tickets for tourists.

No se las razones del resto de personas, yo personalmente estoy absolutamente en contra de las cajas de autopago y si puedo las evito, de hecho cada vez hay mas tiendas que no hay cajeros normales y me molesta mucho. ¿Porque? Porque esto no deja de contribuir a la precariedad laboral, las tiendas con autopago tienen menos personal, si ya te lo haces tu solito y encima te vas contento a ver porque voy a contratar a nadie. I came back from a 3 day city trip in Hannover yesterday. Had no idea people thought it was the most boring city in Germany, but I had a blast. There's so much to do there, I didn't even have enough time. I can highly recommend going there.

Good stuff! Schlenkerla Rauchbeer is certainly available in the US, but it's too expensive here. I've been homebrewing this beer style for a while now, and have been pretty happy with the results that I'm getting. I use about 90% smoked malt, 10% light Munich malt and maybe 2 oz of Carafa II for coloring. One month of fermenting at 49 degrees and then a few months of lagering at 28-30 degrees, and I get a pretty respectable Rauchbeer. Not too many homebrewers make this style, but I'm one of them.

Regarding cars, there is a huge difference between South and North Germany. You find bike lanes everywhere, even in the countryside in the North, cities like Hannover or Wilhelmshaven are very nice. In the south, not so much, with a few exceptions, like Freiburg i. Brsg. Even car drivers are cooler in the North.

There are cities in Germany where pedestrians are in the centre of city planning, such as Freiburg. So it depends where you are. I live in Hanover as well, and it is known for being rebuilt around the car industry after being destroyed in the war, so you are right, you chose one of the worst cities to live in as a pedestrian.

Bar Santos Tortilla is famous among international tourists but it is crap. I am from Córdoba and I do not recommend it. Good food choices man !! You only missed from typical Córdoba food : Rabo de toro, Mazamorra, ensalada de naranja con bacalao , alcachofas a la montillana and Pastel cordobés ( a traditional pie, a dessert) But there are many other meals hehe, our food its rich and diverse. I have lived in Córdoba almost my whole life and I still get surprised every day with new archeological ruins, old nobility houses decoration that I did not know, courtyards, new little places, etc. So, to visit the city in one day its not recommended. Córdoba deserves at least 3 days to more or less have a real idea of what the 5 thousand years city and 4 times Unesco World Heritage site city has to offer 😚 . Regards!!
