HIGHLY recommend the lisle wheel stud installer listed above. I did a single front stud and struggled mightily using the washer and nut method. Fortunately, my many cries of agony where not recorded. When this happened to my rear studs I had learned my lesson and you can see for yourself how smoothly the installation went with the tool.

Very easy job. I broke off 2 of them doing brakes yesterday and this only took a half hour.
