@ 8:40, thats a very old school Toyota Crown 1971 to 1974 model , i havent seen one of them in over 30 years, they also made a 2 door coupe that looks like its part Ford Mustang, large 6 cylinder car, used in Barbados a lot back in the day as a Taxi cab. Would love one all now.
I agree, it looks like a fourth gen s60 crown. They always look lovely done VIP and slammed, mmmmm!!!
This generation of Toyota crown was also made in Australia for our market too, I've seen a few at car shows. My mate's family used to have one as a family car also.
The Thai car scene is hands down 1000% better than the US.. Everyone is there to have fun and it is highly active no matter what event you go to. I really wish I had moved there in my 20s, because I'd be one of the guys with a limo van by now. If I had been smarter I would have went to Thailand after automotive school instead of dying Michigan.
Back in the 90s Nissan made some pretty good chassis's and Toyota made some pretty good engines, seems only logical to me to combine the best of each.
The RB engines from nissan were pretty good too

@@frederickcolaire5367 i'd say JZ is a superior package but in the early days there were NO performance parts avail for JZ and a full catalog for the RB,i ran all sorts of RB's in australia and they aint no slouch by any means,but my valiants with hemi 6's used to walk all over stock supras back in the late 1990's

Toyota still makes great Engines. Toyota and Honda make some of the most reliable engines out there. If I got any different brand I would only lease it. Toyota and Honda is top class when it comes to reliability

Chad, you bring the best content. I have raced all my life on dirt in Winged Sprint Cars, never understood the fad of drifting as is goes against everything we learned to keep a car tight, you bring it and I enjoy the take on events you cover.
Sick cars, I love how they dont give a crap about brand loyalty when it comes to swapping enigines, they just do what works for them and stick with reliability! so sick!

Great video as always mate! @ 4:55, that front end looks like the Datsun 160z we had back in the 70's and 80's here in South Africa. That thing moved!! I currently own a 1974 Mazda F1000, completely stock, still has the 1000cc motor in as well... Cheers, and thanks for all your great videos!

Top quality content yet again. Heads up, this Saturday 11 jun is the annual VW fest in Bangkok. I'm planning to check it out, last time I went was 2017. They had an interesting turnout of some of the best VWs you could find anywhere.

The millitary green car is a toyota crown from the late 60s to mid 70s and i belive its a 1uz in it.

Its a mk3 crown saloon,1971'ish...MS64,i own one...no uz V8,just a lowly 1JZ...drives excellent!
And its green too.

Only other car that rocket bunny has made a boss kit is the rx7 fd.

One of the things I really appreciate in this modern throw away society in America is their resourcefulness which reminds me of when I visited relatives in New Zealand in 1988 before globalism and the important of cheap secondhand cars from Japan. It would interest me to see what their idea of a junkyard is as one of uncles owned one in New Zealand which was completely different than any I've seen here in the US of waste.

Car next to Dodge truck is a Toyota Crown were common in Australia in the 70s chassis sometimes used for Cobra replicas.
I think the old school front end is called the Boss V1 or V2 kit. Love it on pretty much everything.
