    Thank you sir for telling us the truth certainly it is not possible for construction of 4K kms road in 5 years time period and you were not biased about Sher Shah Suri sometimes listening you we feel how much fake world we live.

      Sher Shah would certainly have repaired parts of the road. Perhaps added a few caravanserais and dug wells. But to attribute the Grand Trunk Road to him is criminal.

    The origins of Grand Trunk Road lies far before Sher Shah Suri. It was the Uttarapath. Ashoka's edicts talk of it. He simply revived the ancient road.

    Very informative video Salman saahb. I too had read on Wikipedia that GT Road was work of Sher Shah Suri. Few days ago , I was telling my wife of a kos-minar near Sarai Amanat Khan on Attari- Tarn Taran road that it was built by sher shah. I will correct myself.

    Sir, its a pleasure watching you and listening to your travel tales. You are the first person whom i subscribed as soon as i saw your blog without waiting for a second. I am your pacca fan . ( Generally i watch many vlogs but don't subscribe).. Heard you with Shehzad and also old interview with Ms. Alia shah.
    I trace my ancestral place with great great grandfather from NAKODAR (JALANDHAR)😅😊.
    There is Mata chintpurni mandir some 120 kms from Nakoder in district una ( Himachal ) where the priest i.e. the kul prohit (کل پروہت) has meticulously preserved record of 17 generation prior to mine. The record bears signature of my great grandfather and my great grandmother. As per record our forefathers had come from Afghanistan ( probably to avoid getting killed or conversation they would have ran off ). Afghanistan still has same 60 tribes whi were there before Babur . They always kept fighting between themselves and some of them had preferred to be ruled over by Babar than others from their ilk but seprate tribe.
    Would like to watch and listen you more and more.
    Hope you get visa to again visit india. I am a precticing Lawyer. Born and brought up in Chandigarh but precticing in Delhi.
    Definitely would love to meet you whenever you visit india again .

    Sir another great one. If possible please share more on Sher shah, despite being an outsider, he has relatively better acceptance in India, Kanishka also was an outsider of sorts who gelled well, an episode or any info on them would be appreciated. For some reason in india , we can’t get beyond Akbar and talk more on people like sher shah , krishnadevaraya, the ahoms etc.

    بہت اعلیٰ سلمان رشید صاحب۔۔۔ یہاں ایک اور سوال بنتا ہے کہ آخر انگریز نے شیر شاہ سوری کو ہی کیوں چنا کہ وہ اسی جرنیلی سڑک کی تعمیر کا سہرا اس کے سر سجائے؟ کیا یہ کہہ سکتے ہیں کہ سوری نے اپنے دور میں اس کی مرمت کا کام کروایا ہو۔

    • @jogeshwarkumar226

      Sir even if it is not possible to repair 4000 miles road in a period of 5 years by Sher shah suri. So there are some other reasons to relate it to him.

    • @salmanrashid8880
      @salmanrashid8880 Před rokem +3

      سلمان، آپکی بات بالکل درست ہے۔ شیر شاہ نے مرمت کچھ حصوں کی ضرور کروائی تھی۔ کچھ کنویں بھی کھدوائے اور کچھ سرائے مرمت کروائیں۔ انگریزوں نے جو اس کے راج کی باتیں پڑھیں تو انہوں نے سوچے بغیر ہی پوری سڑک شیر شاہ کے نام لگا دی۔

    چندر گپت موریہ ہو یا شير شاه سوري کے زمانے میں پورے برصغیر کی آبادی لاہور جتنی تو تھی ! جتنے کم لوگ ہوں ان پر راج کرنا اور ان کا نظام چلانا آسان اور ممکن ہوتا ہے ! ان بادشاہوں کی آج کے دور کے حکمرانوں کا موازنہ بےوقوفی ہے

    • @FauiqeAlone
      @FauiqeAlone Před 2 měsíci

      بےوقوف مجھے آپ لگتے ہیں۔ اس زمانے میں اگر آبادی کم تھی تو ٹیکنالوجی بھی بہت پیچھے تھی-

    • @mubeen.fatima
      @mubeen.fatima Před 2 měsíci

      ٹیکنالوجی کا ملک پر راج کرنے سے کیا تعلق؟ بادشاہ اپنے جبر سے لوگوں کو قابو کرتے آئے ہیں ! ٹیکناموجی سے نہیں !
