I have question please. Is it soon valley or soan valley ? Please. I was raised hearing about soan , when did this soon valley come about ? Unless I am totaly mistaken ..
There is a river Soan that rises near Murree, flows past Islamabad-Pindi and goes into the Sindhu River near Makhad. That river's valley is the Soan Valley and has ancient human settlement records. The name is pronounced So-aan, with a nasal ending. Then there is the Soon Valley south of the main Salt Range. That is SOON, just as in English.
