- Since I moved to Madrid I already explored some areas so in this video I will share the places of: nominated best bread, pastries, ice creams, tortilla. Trust the local as they say huh? We will see many delicious places which would be a sin to skip on your trip in Madrid.

Do you have your favourite place in Madrid? Which one? 😋
Honest Greens for coffee and some healthy meals. Bakeries is hard to say as there are sooo many good ones, I guess it depends on what bread, what pastry, etc. Ice Cream no doubt for me: Gelateria La Romana. Tortilla many good places but my favourite remains Casa Dani (for now). It's always hard to pick favourites in a city like Madrid where there's soooo much to explore :)
@@AleSalvino i agree, it is so hard, but for example Honest Greens will never disappoint you-good coffee, food and desserts, lot’s of plants and cool deco, thinking all the boxes😃 but what i love the most - go and change places and discover more, that’s the beauty to me ☺️

My favorite place is Faborit. haha. Plaza de España. A delicious cafe con leche, nice pastries, fresh cut fruit. Damn I miss that place!

Fantastic video as always ❤️ Panem is really good, their bread is very tasty and the pastry lamination super solid. Probably not the best Pain au Chocolat for my taste but really great bakery. The Panettone amazing! 130 Grados bakery is also fairly good, I actually enjoy a lot their coffee because they have La Marzocco machine and Oatly milk :) Oh gosh, Casa Dani in Mercado de la Paz, my favourite tortilla so far! Honest Greens is 100% one of my favourite places for brunch and everything looks so clean, minimalist and nature friendly. Gelataria La Romana... best one in Madrid, loved their flavours, creamy texture and everything really, it reminds me in a way "Volta" or "Freddo" in Buenos Aires (and even better!). The rest of the places look fantastic. Love these Food Tours!
Wanted to show more but the places i picked are the best spots i have discovered so far. :) they are all amazing and have something particular😊 honest greens probably cover a lot of things in one place:coffee, food, desserts and the ambience! 🌿

Wow. What a food paradise! When you say something is good, it has a lot of weight, because you are an experienced pâtissière and baker. I wish I could visit those places, especially Honest Greens and to try that egg sandwich at Hanso. The culinary standard in Spain seems so high.
yes indeed they spanish people pay so much attention to food, it is hard to be disappointed 😀 the good thing is that it is only a tiny % of places i visited here😀 thank you for you comment :)

Wow. That japanese toastie...cake...thing. Looked unreal. What exactly is it? at 8:28 in the video. Looks like it could be the perfect cheese toastie replacement as a vegan!!! 🤞
Exactly - cake..thing.. not sure how to describe it properly but the closest i could think of is brioche-like white japanese milk bread with scrambled eggs and whatever you wish inside. That was the only veggie option:) by the way this place Hans cafe has been nominated as the best cafe in Madrid by TimeOutMadrid!☺️

It all looks so delicious! I've never been to that market. I need to go! But honestly I'm not a fan of Mahou. haha! My favorite Spanish beer is Estrella Galicia. I'm so happy Spain has started getting into craft beer.
I guess beer choice depends on the location, Mahou In Madrid looks like a holy thing 😃

@@KrisKazlauskaite Really? haha. The Madrileños I've met also like different beers, and have even gotten into craft beer. I'm from Berkeley, California near San Francisco. There is so much good beer in Northern California. :)

The mallorquina IS the BEST Patry of Madrid. IS ancestral spanish Baker sweet. The ensaimadas, hojaldres, milhojas, Cañas, empanadas

The panettone looks amazing. France, Italy, Spain, Greece and Germany are the best places for baked goods. The worst is, of course, England.
Panettone makes Christmas period even more special😃 and yes Italy has a reputation of making superb Panettones👌 where are you based? I really like sourdough breads in England. How about France and baked goods there? Do you like them or you think it’s overrated?
@@KrisKazlauskaite I live in Chicago, but I grew up in Peru, where the panettone is the traditional bread for independence day and christmas. I haven't been in France, but French bread and pastries are frankly the best, to my taste. I keep going to the few French bakeries we have in Chicago, without them my weekend is incomplete.
