Considering how the PS2 Emulator on PS5 is botched right now, I don't expect a PS3 Emulator to work at all. There's a world in which where PS3 games run better on an actual PS3 rather than a PS5, and that's sad when thinking back on that notion, the PS3 struggled to run games as it was to begin with.
That Final Fight on the Amiga is just an artists project to make it look visually closer to the arcade version, no game is actually being made.

@@bri1085 Android phones had a lot more power than a Nintendo Switch for years and is fast enough to even emulate Switch.
It wouldn't hurt to try, and if it ends up backfiring, they can still use the emulator, and all Sony has to do is legit just make a separate fork of RPCS3 but with the actual code from the PS3 itself, which includes the backward compatible 2006 console as well.

Sure, but is it in HD? If not, why would I buy it instead of playing the GC version with HD textures? Yes, I played all the Resident Evil games when they were released.
@@DeanSmith84 The main reason is preservation of these versions specifically. I don't know how the GameCube versions are, but PC ones are moddable at least, so you can get you UHD4K visuals that way.
@@DeanSmith84 you can use the REbirth patch by Gemini and the Seamless HD project with this release, just switch to the Japanese file.
One of my requirements for the ps5 was full backwards compatibility. If it had that I would have gotten it. It didn't so I skipped it.
If it gets added then I may pick it up. I'll also need to see if we get our digital games and dlc. This could be a step in the right direction for Sony.
I'm in this boat. If they have full backwards compatibility, I can genuinely consider it.
PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, and PS5 Native... If it can play all of those, it's a no brainer due to my collection
Sony will never do it. And if they somehow do, it'll be very few games, not the whole ps3 library and of forget about using your own discs
Zuinx is like every other yuzu fork or emulator fork that makes a new shinny readme page thats updated every few hours with minor changes and get a shiny new logo to boot then they find a way to update the binary's icon for the windows version and publishes a v1 release

I would be okay with them doing this if they were just upfront and honest about this. Yuzu is getting a bit harder to find now with all of these DMCA takedowns so at least we can still have alternative ways to download it with different names if we cant find it. Luckily i have it backed up in several places. Ryujinx is the way to go though with the exception of lower powered PCs like Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Legion Go, etc. and obviously Android still doesnt have Ryujinx.

I do think your economy, the value of the currency, and, much like Bermuda, their exports and imports are very strict (so you can't just bring anything you want in there without triple checking and banning what to them is considered "Essential" instead of "Non-Essential").

Keep in mind, they have paid staff, source code, detailed hardware documentation, and are only developing for one platform. If they are working on it it wont take long.

You need a certain kind of people with passion to make a emulator. Random "school" programmers usually don't think much out of the box, and do things straight forward resulting in a unoptimized mess. Emulator's can only be made by the minority with 100% passion for it. Not payroll programmers. Just look at Sony's PS1 Mini emulator. Can't even run PS1 games at full speed. LOL

V6 is without antutu,v6,5 with antutu, that's why there is not changes between the two versions, it's just the antutu and for the improvements there is fps improvements in some games but not big,the dev told us that the big change will be on v7 and that he will fix most of things but he needs time cause the v7 will take more than a week

no! 1st july is the "possible" launch date... but, devs already said this date is only a estimative. nevertheless, dev builds of dolphin are popping at fast pace with cheevos centred updates, so who knows... i hope so, to be honest

Pro tip to everyone. Stay away from forks of an emulator when the main emulator shuts down for over a year and wait for the dust to settle and see which credible emulators pop up.
Sudachi seems credible though an an exception to the rule, or use Ryujinx. Can't use Ryujinx cause you're on android? Get a device that can run windows then.

Don't download anything that hasn't been endorsed by Mr. Sujano. And once something has been, take the time to see what everyone else thinks about it too, just to be safe.

I can see why Apple draws the line for emulation in regards to DOS and Windows, as it's essentially emulating games and software from their long time arch rival in the computer space, that continues to dominate them in regards to video games and affordability.

Also i have yet to hear someone rant about the Rog Ally, MSI Handheld, GPD or Ayaneo's battery lives.

ARM has a decent battery just because it's basically like the intel atoms and it's underpowered, big deal.
There's a lot wrong with how ARM works and it's all documented, just because you're reading on StackOverflow and the people there keep telling you to trust the ARM plan doesn't mean it's great.
Also there's not just Intel, you know.
Also you said "those x86 handhelds can't play AAA games," and neither can those ARM Handhelds. I'm all up to be proven wrong when the time comes, but as it stands now, ARM is just good on Apple devices because those devices are basically prison tech. Very closed and very specific.

@@midorifox apologies but i seem to have the error where i cant see my replies after i send them so i guess i send multiple but the only reason i support arm is because i heard that it is more effecient and more powerful theoretically for the price but I agree I wouldn't sacrifice freedom just to get performance but as far as I am concerned as someone who primarily emulates apple has changed the game for the better with their dedicated silicon and finally with competition in the cpu space we can now finally see innovations and further improvements in performance and stability. Also I was unaware of what qualcomm was doing as I had apples silicon in mind. Linux to my knowledge functions fine on apple silicon but if it doesn't on the snapdragon x elite or whatever then that is a big issue. My main desktop runs a modified version of fedora and well its actually a gaming laptop that I have disabled the turbo boost feature to get it to run much cooler. I am the type of person to sacrifice performance to get better thermals because I don't need all the power my cpu provides because I am more gpu bound in my current situation. I just hope that arm pushes for more performance and more effecient x86 chips and if arm dies then I am afraid that we won't be able to get much more performance from x86 because moores law and all that. But thats just my understanding, but indeed x86 is here to stay and will never go and thats fine, but for gaming I value price to performance and cooling more than raw performance if my computer runs beyond 80 degrees celcius. I think my only complaint with arm is that it is going to basically kill the pc parts market if we start seeing arm pcs because you can't replace a broken or upgrade a component in an arm chip because it is all connected to one chip instead of how we have on regular x86 machines. I was speaking with apple silicon in mind but was not aware that qualcomm has backdoors that won't let you sideload I mean you'd think that something apple would do but I guess not that is scummy I will admit. I might be wrong but you can't deny that battery life is much better on arm than on x86 because of power draw and arm being more effecient at the cost of repairability and everything. In the end I just hope qualcomm and apple push intel to have real competition so I can buy affordable powerful workstations in the future or just a good gaming rig considering arm seems to have good gpu performance on mac for the price at least. Thats just my two cents and sorry for the "flooding" because youtube won't show me any replies and I don't usually talk in replies to comment sections due to the low interaction I associate with the feature.
edit: I will continue to respond to provide additional context and apologize for my sloppy job in the replies and I will delete those messages because I consider this post to be more definitive in contrast.
interms of performance, Ziunx does improve something compared to yuzu and sudachi.

Overall Ziunx V6 can run nascar heat in 30-50 fps with the optimal settings

Man when is ryujinx releasing a build for Android and when ps3 emulator is going to come on Android and when is Cemu coming to android and when the hell is the OG xbox emulation coming to android i am waiting for these emulators so badly all of these consoles of mine are dying my pc danged up so I can't do Cemu and RPCS3 on that and well i am just interested that what would xbox emulation would look like on Android.😢

You would be factually incorrect when it comes to the PS3 emulator on PS five I believe that Mark the creator of the PS five has already stated future plans for this back at launch. it’s just taking some time to perfect look at the emulators that are out today and how long it’s taken them to run just a handful of games

If PlayStation does develop an emulator for the PS5, it would be a little weird. *BUTT,* it would make a lot of sense to develop one for PS1-2-3. For game preservation. Maybe like a NES/SNES/Genesis Mini.

My opinion on the Ziunx matter: every Yuzu fork so far has had some form of infighting and allegations thrown around, it's a very unfortunate community constantly throws the future into doubt because there are so many that are either people who want to keep the emulator alive and maybe only have so much skill or opportunists that see it as a chance to pretend to want to keep it alive and ride the wave of potential profitability in an emulator many thought worked better than Ryujinx (an apparently did for reasons that may have gotten it killed in the first place.) It's all just sad.
I'd love to support Yuzo Koshiro's game, I don't know about re connecting my Genesis, but I have it, and the game looks great. PS3 emulation on the PS5 means nothing to me if it's just another vector for them to sell me games I already own and have disks for sitting on my shelf. I'd love to hears "you can play your old games in the new system, no problem," but I suspect that's not the case.

PS3 emulation on the PS5 would be quite the feat, given the limitations of the hardware; coding for a fixed platform however can come with massive advantages. They'd still need to work a minor miracle to overcome the CPU limitations though.
I wouldn't be surprised if - just like they did with their PS2 emulator for PS4 - they never actually release it as an app, and instead just use it to sell PS3 games on the store.

I don't think Apple knows what it is doing in the emulation space. What if a Ambernic device runs custom firmware based on Linux and someone writes an app for it? Is it OK to write an emulator to run the program. What is the program ends up running under port master? Is it OK to run the program on a PC if the PC is running Linux but but wouldn't allow a Windows / DOS port? The JIT rule is stupid and I think the rest of their rules are so oddly nonspecific I wouldn't bet my dev money on them allowing or banning my app or emulator in the future.
REQUEST: Add handheld OS updates to your repertoire. You already generally report on Apple and Raspberry OSs now. I think you should expand out to notifying us of other fruits and vegetables like onion, mustard, tomato and asparagus. I don't know what the R36S is based on but it would be great if someone would send in a tip about updates about no name devices and you could pass those on as well.
Note: I know there isn't an asparagus OS but someone should definitely make one. Oh, and brussel sprouts shouldn't be left out either.
I would not trust those arabs and their attention-seeking behaviour. At this point, just buy a Switch Lite.
