Now go find the best svíčková in Naples.
Good one
Make my day 😂
Well... Svickova is from the very begining a "fake" food :) that's why it never really crossed our borders :)
Right on!
By the reviews on Google, Alpine Restaurant in Naples, Florida, looks good. Although I'm not sure if they make svíčková.
I think about half an hour ago I was just thinking about how I wanted some pizza tonight, and I'm on a trip to Prague right now. This is the best timing on a video ever.
Maybe it´s less coincidence than you think :D
Hey did u end up having a slice at any of these places, were they good? which of them would you personally recommend? :)
Pizza Nouva was rated in the top 50 pizzerias in Europe by an Italian Pizza Organization. Its pretty good with a decent price for being in the old town.
Pizza Nuova, San Carlo and Napoletana - original pizza are (from what I've tasted) best napoletan style pizzas in Prague, cant go wrong with any of them.
No.
Ah yes, the highest authority on food: "an italian pizza organisation"
@@ThefamousMrcroissantare you racist?
Have been watching your channel for a while an we finally decided to visit Prague this autumn. Im very excited and have been binge watching your videos to suck up as much information as possible about Prague. Love from Germany
Honestly so happy Third Coast was on there, as a study abroad student living in Vinohrady and next to Žižkov, that place was my dose of Americana whenever I needed it
I think the best italian pizza in Prague is actually from SASY The Original, looks like they might have changed locations, but it's still in the center near Mustek. Definitely worth a try 😊
Great video guys keep up the nice work
Wow I've got to be prepared to be hungry when I watch these episodes. 🍕🤤
Love it. Been in Prague 2 times. Will go again
You got me at San Carlo. I am going to have to try over the Christmas break for sure!
Good choice, Sir!
I went to San Carlo Mana Strana, and it was amazing. Across the street, the bar/restaurant "Nicholas" was great too.
By the end of this video, you made me to order a pizza. Thank you so much! It’s been about an year since I had one last time😊
11:36 This church was designed by the Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik.
When I saw Johnny's pizza, I was like: YES! I love that place! Thqnkw guys! Also San Carlo was recommended by my Italian friends too. :D
One pizza place I highly recommend in the Prague 7 area is called Einstein’s, not only was the pizza great but if you or have a friend who is a student you can get a whole pizza free when you buy one. It was super cheap too!
😂great!
I need to come back to Prague!!!
Pizzas and beers!!!
Great video.
Food is like Art, it's always a personal taste. It is good there is a variety of pizza around. Not everyone likes the same things.
Ristorante-Pizzeria Al Tagliere should absolutely be on this list! Hopefully you can give it a try.
Neat, my office is right next to the church in Malá Strana and I didn't know about San Carlo
Never would have thought Prague = pizza, but it looks really great! Naples ruined me for pizza, and it looks like that style (Neapolitan) is being used. Definitely need to try it! Thanks!
Amazing video my friend!
This place opened up in prague also in Bělehradská street, i saw it today. I believe the restaurant in Plzeň must be the first one and I am old to just now have found this video out haha
"americans approved" probably is the worst compliment a pizza place can get😂
100%
NYC's pizza is superior. Go to Joe's pizza and you'll see
Only Americans like the thing they call pizza, in New York...
stereotype much? this American is a certified pizzaiolo from the scuela italiano de pizzaioli based in Naples. get out a bit before asserting nonsense
😅
If you're in the center, there is one across the mall palladium called Ambiente. So good and they have an all you can eat pizza degustation...
Italian pizza at manifesto market and pizza Einstein in Prague 2 are also nice
My absolute favourite pizza in Prague is Fresh Point in Dejvice, they make amazing slices as well, but you can get the whole pizza as well of course for sit down, really brings me back to my uni days
A hidden gem indeed
Exactly what I wanted to say... They have amazing slices.
This place opened up in prague also in Bělehradská street, i saw it today. I believe the restaurant in Plzeň must be the first one and I am late to just now have found this video out haha
Thanks for the advice, we went to the San Carlo Mala Strana and it was great. Pizza's were excellent, friendly staff and good beer - what else can you ask for?
San Carlo is amazing
There are different styles of pizza that are appropriate at different times and places, e.g. New York style pizza (thin crust, single slices), Chicago (deep dish), Sicilian (square, thick crust), etc. They can't be compared directly to each other. I had never heard of Detroit-style, but it looks pretty good.
Thanks - so much fun to watch you try all these. Ask 10 people for their favorite pizza and get 10 answers.
Pizza Napoletana near Dvorce tram station worth a try as well
Top video!!!
Now I have to try them all 😭😭
Now you can do Balkan food tasting, there are a few Balkan restourants in Prague and you should visit them.
P.S. Resturant called Delije in centar of the Prague have amazing pizza.
I really enjoyed this, especially coming from a place where the pizza is terrible. Can't even blame it on the tourists because I'm fairly certain we've never had one. Cheers.
The best pizza I ate in Prague is from Carmelita. We came down from Mount Petrin and there it was, by accident and it was fabulous.
You now have me craving pizza!!!
Then go to Italy, not to Prague. This video was a dumb ass idea.
Baretta in Nusle is my favourite
There used to be a food truck next to Wenceslas Square that sold square pizza slices that were so good, I revisited recently excited to eat this again only for it to be closed ;/
Honza should start a food review CZcams channel! 😉😘🤙
we had great pizza at The Italians. excellent other items as well.
Johnny pizza is some of the best I’ve had in the world. I’m from the US and have been to nyc a dozen times but I will always choose pizza forms Jhonny’s pizza over anything. I hope this video doesn’t make it too popular because on a Friday night you already have 40-50 ppl outside
That are some great pizza places, personally I love the pizza in Crossclub
I’ll be in Prague next week! But curious why some places don’t slice their pizza.
Ty vole! No joke, try Budapest for pizza! I’ve traveled the entirety of and didn’t taste pizza as good as from a place in Budapest (an Italian runs this place of course) but I must add, there are a few places close 👌

I watch the videos just for the Czech word 😂
Then you can skip the bulk of the video and go to the last 2 minutes.
10:43 as an Italian,i wouldn't have an heart attack there, actually i'll genuinely try that one!
Anyway, even if i'm a person who avoids Italian food outside Italy (for obvious reasons),those pizzas looked soo good,i wouldn't have expected that!
I love to travel, and usually it´s because of different foods, and of course cultures. But I find it a bit weird to eat pizza in prague, or lasagne in krakow, etc. I mostly would like to try the local foods as much as possible. Even though the best pizza I´ve had was in Philadelphia :D
If you live here it's a different story. How many pizzas you have to order to find a proper place
Last pizza America style looks so so so delicious. Going to eat pizza now. 😂😂
You should try Pizzeria Da Antonio, very delicious
We were there for the first time last month and our favorite was Ristorante CARMELITA Pizzeria
The Detroit style pizza looks more like a savory Koláč (Kolache) to me. But I bet it tastes great. 😊
Hi guys, I'm from Argentina and you helped me tons while I was planning my trip to Prague. If you're ever interested in reaching out to the Spanish -speaking audience, I would love to help you!
You can hear Honza "swallowing" a laugh at 4:28 :D
Try it in Naples. My top 5 pizza was in Naples :) Even the restaurant says it is italian, and italian ingredients, and everything is italian, I never ate pizza like in Naples. Not in Prague, not in Budapest, not elswhere.
Honest Story 👍
I come partially from Naples and live in Prague since a few years and can guarantee you the most authentic Neapolitan Pizza you will get at San Carlo´s 💯🤌
The best pizza in Czech Republic is in Vsetín ☺️
Tazza Bistro Italiano 🍕
Couple of benches thrown together on side of road: "fancy restaurent"
Da Pietro in Plzen is actually a fenomenal pizza
10:07 As Jon Stewart would say: "IT'S NOT PIZZA!!!" 🤣 Anyway, gotta try the Johnny Pizza Bar.
Italian living in Prague. The best pizza in city is, in my opinion, Ammuni in Vinohrady. Enjoy it!
The third coast pizza looks incredible. Shame you don't have good Chicago Style around there
We loved Gambero Rosso. Best pizza imho. Try it next time guys
Stazione Felicita at Kolbenova is pretty decent; however, it's too far from the tourist routes
I recommend Al Tagliere (close to Karlovo Namesti). Try Pizza ai frutti di mare 😊
Quiero probar esa 🍕🤤
I love km-Pizza @ metro station "Černy Most" 😂
Yeah, throwing all that shade on subway pizza was a bit much. I like most of the subway pizza. If you're on the run at lunchtime, a slice or two of subway pizza hits the spot. If you can, just get slices from a pizza that has just come out of the oven.
there is a pizzeria in Dejvicka not far for the underground I think of of the best in unfortunately i forget the name of the that pizzeria.
okay... so I`ll have pizza for lunch today :D
Hey therew
We are going from the 17th to the 23rd in December to Prague with my boyfriend, do you have nice rec for some places to eat with a Christmas vibes??
Also if there are some events stuff to see only during that time.
Cause I've seen a lot of videos at the market and some stuff they recommend are like the spiral parties you said it wasn't even Czech 😂
So now I'm wondering
A bit early for the Christmas markets...but you will be able to get Halloween themed meals...
The first one and the one in Pilsner looked the best.
At the store where you need a facebook invite , but the pizza was made in a cheap pizzamaker for 50e :D Is probably the secret sauce
You missed the one in žluté lázně, that's the best slice!!
I'm just here to build out my list of potential restaurants in random neighborhoods for the next time I'm in Prague 👌
Close to the Jewish Quarter there is a pizza restaurant called 'Pepenero Pizza & Pasta'. I recommend that place, really good pizza:)
you missed pizzeria roma una!! In zizkov. My favorite
I'm gonna be in Prague in December on a weekend and I was looking for a spot to watch NFL games at...Now I know I have to go to the Detroit style pizza spot!
DO IT! The owners are super cool, the beer is awesome, and the pizza is craaaaazy good!
before i even clicked the vid i knew you were going to johnny!
in front of my apartment there is pizza frateli an its so good
Another great show guys! But is there no Chicago style pizza in Prague? Deep dish? Or thin crust but loaded? Also Janek, each topping is an ingredient, and together they are ingredients -- not ingredientses :)
Go to Chicago, not Prague. This video was a dumb ass idea.
you need a Chicago Deep Dish haha
Love that Third Coast Pizza & I’m from Chicago L
I came from India to Prague after watching your videos. Would it be possible for us to meet, sir? 😊
Da Pietro and San Carlo are good, but you missed Sasy the Original (and maybe also da Antonio).
San Carlo, but in Dittrichova!!!!! Best Pizza in Prag for sure!!!!
After cooking some pasta with carbonara, the proper way, I sat down to watch this since I know how Italian food should taste and look like.
I approve all but the Detroit style from Pilsen. Video is great but it could use more critique.
Also why don't I cook Italian foods if I'm so good at it? I know right, who asked xD. Cause in IT I earn more xD and I don't want to sell overpriced food, seems immoral to me. (or at least I'd have a "student and elderly discount" scheme, 20% off for eating in) so instead of 170 Kč (7,3 €) they'd pay 135 Kč (5,2 €) or about the price of a kebab made with actually good ingredients.
That'd add up to 120 Kč *pure profit* and "only" 70 Kč profit for the student one. For this to be viable (I'd just rent a space, I wouldn't buy anything but the stuff to make the pizza itself) I'd have to sell at least 12 pizzas/day, any more would be just purely for profit.
But legally speaking, I'm a bachelor IT professional, not a chef. So it's a no-go anyways.
Third Coast Pizza, way to go!!!
We loved your help in Prague, but maybe a video warning folks not to book travel out on České dráhy unless they are able to reserve a seat at time of booking? We're on a train out to Regensburg and they shorted the first class carriage so the aisles are packed.
Johnny's is legit! And near namesti miru!
these are all the southern italian style "canotto" pizza with the fluffy rim
The best one is by far DaAntonio but unfortunately they're temporarily closed since the mid of August
Hi. Ill be in prague in january ,is there to cold in that period snow etc or no?in general speaking
I could be cold, February is the coldest month in Czech Rep...enjoy your trip.
@@dgibelli thanx 🙂
@@JohnWick-hp1sj its usually around 0 celsius in that time here (in cities)
@@MrMajsterixx 😬
It depends. It can be 0 or also even -15. All in all hope that there will be snow. Freezing weather is much better with it than without to handle.
New York & New Jersey said very good. haha, now you know it had to be good, is this a setup ?
I've been to San Carlo many times. Now I no longer live in Prague I can't find a decent pizza place anymore. San Carlo Ruined my forever. I went to San Carlo with Italians (not from Naples) And they said they could not get a pizza that good in Italy apart from in Naples.
The owner who founded the place is from Naples and you can notice.
You guys need to try PICCOLO MONDO Bělohorská 9, 169 00 Praha 6 !!
Thought San Carlo was a dud when I went there.
Le Pizza di Frankie and Third Coast, on the other hand, are far superior.
Rozvázíme? In Ostrava the signs say Rozvoz
As a NYC pizza guy, how was that second pizza cooked? A hot plate? Thats a hard no
11:50 Yeah, that's the girl! 🤣
